With over 20 years of experience in the kitchen, Nicholas McCann, now Executive Chef of Society Cafe, has always been passionate about food. Drawing inspiration from his family recipes, Nicholas quickly fell in love with the culinary world at a young age and began his career at The French Culinary Institute in NYC. Since then, he has worked with some of the city’s most acclaimed chefs and restaurants, including working alongside Chef Luis Bollo of Salinas before moving on to become an Executive Chef at TESSA, The Milling Room, and Corkbuzz.

At Society Cafe, Chef Nicholas flexes his creativity by bringing a fresh perspective to the restaurant’s ‘market-to-table’ concept. With a rotating seasonal menu reflective of the city’s local farmers and markets, guests can expect to experience Chef Nicholas’ unique culinary creations alongside its intimate & classic art deco inspired space.

This restaurant was a great find for Mother's Day brunch, but I would definitely come back for dinner one day. The service was great, and the food was very good, with a wide variety of choices for everyone, and plenty of vegetarian options for non-meat eaters.

The room is beautifully decorated and bright. We all enjoyed our food! The service was very good and the noise level was acceptable.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff was attentive and very friendly and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! I was staying at the hotel attached and ate at The Society three different meals, highly recommend!

One if my favorite places to meet friends without a million tables on top of each other. Lovely warm staff good food. My friend and I sat in the beautiful front lobby after lunch to have dessert & finish our chat.

Food was not hot. Steak was tasty but tough. I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it much better previously. The lounge with music and happy hour very good

We apologize that we weren't able to remedy this while you were here because we really hate to hear our guests have walked out without having had a tasty and properly prepared meal. Always a go to for me for brunch. Good food, good service and not too noisy. A nice place to get together and catch up with people.
