After entering the restaurant we approached the hostess and told her we had reservations. She said nothing and had a very flat affect. She walked us to our table , put the menus on the table and walked away. No words were uttered. Our waitress was kind but harried and over -extended. The food was fair. My wife had red beans and rice that was bland. I had the fried shrimp which was fair. Bread pudding was tasty. We had tickets for the 9:30 pm jazz show. The process for waiting in a line about 25 minutes by the bar to get into the show was confusing and crowded. No one directing us with clear instructions. We were standing over customers trying to eat their dinner and had to move several times to allow waiters to get to those tables. We also had to move to allow folks leaving the prior show to leave the restaurant. It would be helpful to rethink the process to overcome these obstacles. When they started allowing people to enter the theater about a dozen people walked up to the front of the line bypassing those of us waiting in line. That was disappointing. Fortunately, the show was excellent. The very pleasant bar waitress in the theater was by herself and also over extended. As a jazz musician I had wanted to go to Snug Harbor as a bucket list item. The music was great but the physical layout and low staff to customer ratio created issues. I hope you are able to find solutions.

Too much fried food that was all the same. Frenchman street is awesome but the food at this place is mediocre. Mixed drinks so so. People are very nice.

The food was okay. Waiter forgot to bring all our appetizers. Brought our entrees with appetizers. She never apologized. I thought it was music with dinner but the show was after dinner. Disappointed

I thought we were making reservations for the jazz room but that is separate! We ended up in the small dining room off the bar. It was very loud, the waiter took forever to help us and the food was just really not very good. This was our only disappointing meal for the whole 4-day trip.

It was good, not great. Also very odd, went in, they said no tables available. Walked out and checked Open Table and got a reservation for 15 minutes later

Place was busy, after waiting over 10 minutes we asked someone to please get our waitress. Table of 7 seated after us, different waiter, had their drink order b4 we saw our waitress. Food was good, little pricy, but good. Finished eating b4 waitress came back to see if all was good. Said I'll get you more tea to drink, never came back. Table cleared, had to ask someone to get waitress for our check. Tip left was appropriate for service.
