Whereas traditional Tex-Mex uses a Santa Maria Grill, Tex-Que derives from our offset Smoker to cook all of our proteins and incorporate them into our inclusive menu. Smoky Rose offers all of the Texas staples from our top rated Brisket Queso, to our delicious smoked Brisket Tacos. We have it all - made fresh in our scratch kitchen. The brisket queso was a great appetizer. The food was great. Our server was amazing. The valet parking is a huge help with how busy the area is.

Overall a good place except our service was terrible. Wonder if it’s because we were a large group and they automatically added 20% tip - so why put any effort in?

We had a great family outing. Excellent food great live music great drinks. It was hot out, but it was great on the patio with fans and shade.

Our overall meal was very good. The chicken fried smoked prime brisket was especially good. The Mac and cheese was not so tasty. It barely had any sauce on it, there was zero flavor, and all that I could taste was the pasta itself. I would suggest reworking that recipe.

Great place, delicious food and service was great. They may be a bit short staffed but we were there late. Overall we are repeating customers for sure. Beautiful patio.

We eat there at least 4 times a month sometimes more. We’ve noticed increasingly bad service and attitudes. Last night was one of them. We sat down, I ordered the salad the way I have many many times. Our server did not bring our order, it was more like like just dropped off in front of us. The steak on my salad was a cold medium rare not the warm medium well I asked for. No one could bring me the dressing I asked for But much later brought me a dressing I specifically said I didn’t want. Our server Alex never once asked if all was ok or what the problem worth my salad was as it sat untouched. Never offered to help get it right. I have to say in many decades of dining out this was the worst meal we’ve paid for. It’s not the cost of the meal that bothered us so much but the indifference that was shown to me

Love Smoky Rose, but our server was simply terrible. This is very abnormal, as the service is really good normally. This person was inattentive. Chatting it up with her waitstaff friends, meanwhile, our drinks were empty, dirty dishes scattered the table. Very disappointing. She was not busy either. Just a bad server. The food was delicious as always.
