Smokehouse Barbecue has been servicing Kansas City since 1987. It opened its doors in Zona Rosa, Kansas City, Missouri, with one objective in mind: to provide Kansas City customers with the best barbecue and service possible. On a daily basis, Smokehouse Barbecue surpasses that aim by serving only the best hickory-smoked brisket and juicy chicken, as well as delectable spices, sauces, and rubs.

Being in Kansas City I was expecting really good BBQ. Our waitress was excellent and it’s a pretty cool place. The meat however had no flavor and was really dry. We got the burnt ends for an appetizer. They weren’t crispy or juicy. Very dry and bland.

Food was very great my family was happy. Thank you for this experience today. Thank you for accommodating my need for an extra seat with no problem. Will definitely be back.

Service staff was excellent and kind. Everyone spoke highly of their food. Really enjoyed our dining experience.

This is a great restaurant and very nice servers and other staff. I do think the price range is a bit high but the food is very good.

Overall the service was excellent. Staff was very nice and focused on making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Dining room looked great, very clean and there was a nice amount of space between tables. The only downside for me was I did not find the burnt ends as flavorful or tender as some competitors. The sides we had were very good. We’ll probably go again but will try something else.

Smokehouse always provides a consistently good meal. Our waitress was very attentive. We were a larger party and everyone had what they needed
