Overall, Smith & Wollensky is a fine dining experience and Renata our server made it exceptional… the Seafood, for our starters was terrific. The twin fillets were not the greatest cut of meat (chewy) but cooked perfectly. their Bernaise sauce was very good as were the salads… For dessert crème brûlée was awesome and my wife’s cheesecake frankly is much better… so if you have the opportunity, the upstairs outdoors is very nice and ask for Renata as your server to make it the best… She is a pro.

I have had better steak and experience elsewhere. For the price I thought it would be better food and service wise. It wasn’t bad nor was it great. Mediocre steakhouse.

We were looking forward to a great family meal centered around steak. My son’s rib-eye was ordered MedRare and it arrived Very Rare. We had to send it back. My son and Daughter got the Surf and Turf for Two. The 18ounce flat was ordered medium but was medium well. We didn’t want to complain after sending back the other ribeye. My Sirloin Strip was way too marbled for the price. Overall it was disappointing and I probably will not return. The server did comp our dessert for the undercooked ribeye, but for the cost of the meal, I was extremely disappointed.
