Owner and acclaimed chef David Slay brings you SLAY Steak + Fish House. The food is locally sourced, some of which comes from his very own garden in Orange County at his other restaurants, Park Ave & Il Garage. SLAY offers cast-iron cooked grass-fed beef, chops, and sustainable seafood. Wine, from his very own winery Slay Estate & Vineyard located in Santa Barbara is also sold at SLAY. The ambiance is upscale and one of a kind.

It was our first time visiting this location. And this restaurant is purely amazing. I had the special New York strip 30 ounce. It was beyond my expectations of amazing. Thayer was one of a kind and the kind of person you want to go back just to say hi to you. I highly recommend this location and hope you go there soon.

The food, service and atmosphere are a cut above the standard quality steak and seafood restaurant. The cook on every dish is just noticeably more attentive and pleasurable — from the filet to even the rolls! And dessert was a true sweet and not overly sweet: Slay makes food and desserts for adult palates. Let them take care of you with their service and wow you with their food. You won’t be disappointed.

Our server made the experience elevated he was outstanding attentive and knowledgeable about the food there. The food was well made but not worth the cost. The seating was nice the restaurant is very intimate and can get loud depending who you are seated by. The drinks were great. Overall I will rate it a 4.

This place is fantastic. It feels cozy and local but the food easily rivals some of the best steakhouses in LA. The Slay family are amazing people! They are constantly present at their restaurants, very friendly, and super hard working. They have gone out of their way to make our time at their restaurants special every single time we visit. I highly recommend this place or any Slay family restaurant! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

Best beet salad ever! The crab cake was very good. The salmon was great. Jose, the server, was the best.

Soft shell crabs are really delicious. Thanks for having them on the specials menu. Your preparation was terrific. Sauteed is so much better than the more common method of deep frying. Twice-baked potato was also excellent as was the sauteed spinach. Yum.
