Four of us for a family dinner. Started with Burrata with Crostini and jam - excellent! They brought more crostini when it was requested without charge. Garlic bread was very tasty. We had the Spring Pizza with Artichoke Hearts as a starter, and one of our party who doesn't like artichokes liked it. However, the Spring Pizza was described as including pancetta, and what was on there looked suspiciously like bacon. It was still good. Our main dishes were Carbonara and the Shrimp Risotto. The carbonara is going off their menu, and while tasty was not authentic; it included cream, which should not be there. It also was made with wide noodles that are not typical for this dish. The Shrimp Risotto was delicious! Shrimp were grilled to perfection, a slight char on the outside and the interior tender. The underlying risotto was superb. Ended sharing two desserts - this changes based on what the kitchen feels like making. This evening it was a chocolate cake with almonds and a warm pastry with fruit and ice cream. All good!

This place overall is a 4.5 to a 5 it was great. The quality of food was great. The service was amazing. The recommendations were great. The only thing I’d like is more red glass options. The food was fresh, home made, truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The garlic bread and marinara sauce was crazy good

The food was not good. That explains why there where only about 6 tables with customers, while most other restaurants had a wait list. We're new to Manhattan Beach. We won't be back.

Six of us had dinner here on a Saturday night. The food was excellent - especially the starters (burrata, garlic bread, and calamari). Osso Bucco was also delicious and nicely prepared. Tiramisu, sorbet and chocolate bread pudding for dessert. Service was very good. The dinner was most enjoyable.

The food has changed a bit. The squash blossoms were not as good as they typically are. My daughter had no idea her pasta would have no sauce in it. That was a little strange. She did not like it. Usually it’s fantastic so we will assume this was just an off night.
