Thought I made reservations at another Slay location. Parking here is horrible! Food was good. Service was great! Nothing special about the restaurant itself.

Well, I made a reservation. I told them it was my wife’s birthday. I was really excited because I had heard great things! And then they proceeded to put us at a crummy table in the corner up top on the veranda. I was so excited to see the sunset too. Hard at this crummy table with No View! All while other tables were available. It was pretty empty at 7:30 too. My buddy asked me if we should move. I said no. I wanted to see who they put at the other tables. So a group of married women, not even celebrating anything got a great table. Then they completely ruined the ambiance by closing the shutters and now we lost our view of the sunset. Why even sit outside if you’re going to close off the world from us? Now we have no view. Plus we are sitting in the dreary corner :(. That goes along with a server who is wearing a mask and you can’t understand him. Then that server leaves. Does not say anything to the contrary. Then another server comes in and tries to carry on. Kind of sad. It seems that Slay probably should have stayed at 2 restaurants. Ok, Slay Italian and Slay Steak and Fish are fantastic! The Mediterranean one sucks! Sorry just my observation. Food was good. The apps were really good. But the service and the ambiance leaves a little to be desired. Oh and a manager never came by either. And we spent a pretty penny there too! 4 meals, apps and 2 bottles of I must say really good Wine!!! I do think I should give it another chance. We shall see. There are a bunch of other over priced mediocre restaurants in MB/HB that I can visit anytime! Thanks

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Love the rooftop patio! I made myself NOT order the jidori chicken again, and tried a yummy shrimp pasta. We shared the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer. The service here is always professional but very friendly.

The setting was great for casual Mexican Restaurant it was for years. But for a high priced ‘gourmet menu’ it doesn’t ‘go’ in this very casual basic setting. No liquor license problematic for drinks before dinner. Too informal for this menu and price point.

Warm, welcoming, efficient service and very good food in a pleasant setting. We were on the roof and liked being in an enclosed yet outdoor space. Great place for brunch.

Alex was our server and mad the Mother's Day dinner exceptional. Alex has a true passion for his job and makes sure his customers are satisfied. He had very good food recommendations and we loved everything we had to eat. This is a great place for dinner with delicious food and perfect relaxing vibe.

Food amazing and they’re always innovating. We all the Slay properties but brunch at Slay Hermosa is our go-to / favorite brunch spot now!! Service always top notch as well.
