Located on the top floor of the Main Stand at Edinburgh's iconic Tynecastle Park Stadium.

Sit back and relax as our team proudly present a celebration of seasonal ingredients and flavours in our recently renovated premises. From starters to desserts, every dish has been carefully crafted to showcase excellent local produce.

We’re a family-friendly restaurant with children’s menus available.

Since opening in 2020, we’ve become a favourite to locals and visitors alike - recently claiming a place in OpenTable's UK Top 100 Restaurants for 2023 and winning Best Restaurant in the 2023 Radio Forth Awards.

Our Table d'hôte dinner menu is available seven days a week and for lunch Friday to Sunday. Monday to Thursday we offer a light à-la carte lunch menu. Booking is essential.

We went to the Skyline for my partners birthday from the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything was outstanding. The food was first class and the staff could not have been more welcoming, polite and attentive. Best place to eat in Edinburgh

A delicious meal, great choice on the menu and fantastic value for the 3 courses. Excellent service and you are well looked after. Definitely a place to revisit and try something else.

I had a Soup of the Day, which was carrot and ginger, served with focaccia. It was one of the best focaccia I had - Freshly made, soft in the middle. Served warm, toasted to perfection.

An excellent restaurant with great food and service. Please do not think this restaurant experience will be intruded upon because of the football connection. It is completely separate, as far as this experience goes, and it could be located on any 'High Street', in any city. The food is simply delicious and for a lunch, plenty of options. If you are in Edinburgh make sure to visit the Skyline Restaurant. The lunch was for my son (now 23) and the staff took it upon themselves to make it special for him, that was 'gleefully' accepted.

Great food at a competitive price. Ham hock starter one of the tastiest dishes I’ve eaten in ages. Staff both friendly and attentive, good job.

Returned to Skyline to expect the usual high standards . Disappointed that prices have increased so much especially no lunch time deals anymore . Certain portion sizes not value for money on mains eg Caesar Salad / very little dressing or chicken for the price . £20 for fish and chips is the dearest in the city . Desserts very good and well presented . Service on the slow side even although there were only about a dozen diners during the lunch service . Would like a return to 2 / 3 course deal at lunchtime which has been popular in the past . Lovely venue but expensive for lunch .

Our family went to celebrate our mum and dads 50th wedding anniversary and what can we say the food was amazing the staff were fantastic and so accomodating. We even got the chance to go into the stadium and take some family pictures cant thank the staff enough. Defo recommed coming to the skyline for something to eat and for the fantastic service.

Great food in a lovely setting. No pressure on us (group of seven) to eat up and very relaxed with a drink at the bar as our table was being prepared. Three courses at a very reasonable price and all excellent food. Stephen was the head honcho and he was very organised and attentive to our needs. Definitely go back.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal. We have had meals here before and the stand continues to be very high. This time was a lunch with good selection from the menu. The meal was well prepared and the staff were very attentive. In our opinion the meal was good value for what we paid. I look forward to going back there in the future and have no hesitation in recommending Skyline to others.

Surprising to find a nice hotel and restaurant inside Hearts football ground! Short but interesting menu: food good and well-presented. Simple but smart decor; the screens showing football won’t be to everyone’s taste but the sound was turned off. Good value.

It was the first time my husband and I had eaten in the Skyline Restaurant at Tynecastle Park. From the moment we arrived to leaving everything was perfect. We have already booked to go back. Food was fabulous, staff were friendly and made you feel at ease. We had a terrific time.

We have been to the restaurant before several times and WOW you guys never fail to impress! We had just finished the stadium tour - there is a lot of walking so we were looking forward to lunch!! Food 10/10, staff (especially Jackie (ops manager) 10/10, service 10/10 absolutely no complaints. Hope to see you again soon 👍

I took my Dad and my son to the Skyline and it just never fails to deliver on all fronts. The menu is great, something for everyone. The food we all had was first class, everyone of us finished everything we had. The service , as always was excellent , the staff are genuine, helpful, polite. We will be back..again and again

Fantastic meal last night with my husband and son. Loved the fact that kids could choose courses from the main menu as well as the children’s menu. Both the boys had the Chicken and Black Pudding Terrine for starters, mains were the Venison Bourguignon (phenomenal), the kids burger (massive!) and the Sweet Potato Curry (unreal!). For dessert we had the sticky toffee, the peanut banoffee and the Oreo brownie - again, all just fantastic. The boys had breakfast there too and again, everything was great. Hats off to all of the staff, both front of house and in the kitchen. Service was attentive and friendly and the chefs all did an amazing job in producing top notch food that looked and tasted amazing. The first time we’ve eaten there but it certainly won’t be the last. Thank you!

Excellent and friendly service from Mathew in the bar and very good and friendly service from Carrie in the restaurant. Food as ever excellent, with good portions. A couple of small criticisms, on previous visits we have always enjoyed the view over the city but, for some reason, the curtains were closed on this occasion. Also the TV being on showing darts, although with sound off, was a distraction that was not needed. These minor points did not spoil a great experience as always. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended
