Located on the top floor of the Main Stand at Edinburgh's iconic Tynecastle Park Stadium.

Sit back and relax as our team proudly present a celebration of seasonal ingredients and flavours in our recently renovated premises. From starters to desserts, every dish has been carefully crafted to showcase excellent local produce.

We’re a family-friendly restaurant with children’s menus available.

Since opening in 2020, we’ve become a favourite to locals and visitors alike - recently claiming a place in OpenTable's UK Top 100 Restaurants for 2023 and winning Best Restaurant in the 2023 Radio Forth Awards.

Our Table d'hôte dinner menu is available seven days a week and for lunch Friday to Sunday. Monday to Thursday we offer a light à-la carte lunch menu. Booking is essential.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal. We have had meals here before and the stand continues to be very high. This time was a lunch with good selection from the menu. The meal was well prepared and the staff were very attentive. In our opinion the meal was good value for what we paid. I look forward to going back there in the future and have no hesitation in recommending Skyline to others.

Surprising to find a nice hotel and restaurant inside Hearts football ground! Short but interesting menu: food good and well-presented. Simple but smart decor; the screens showing football won’t be to everyone’s taste but the sound was turned off. Good value.

Food was great, service was good. They even offered to adapt most of the dishes on the menu to make them gluten free for my wife.

It was the first time my husband and I had eaten in the Skyline Restaurant at Tynecastle Park. From the moment we arrived to leaving everything was perfect. We have already booked to go back. Food was fabulous, staff were friendly and made you feel at ease. We had a terrific time.

Top quality in every sense..food superb, service and friendliness of staff excellent..one little gripe..Brandy has to be served in a brandy glass..thats it..Highly recommend

We have been to the restaurant before several times and WOW you guys never fail to impress! We had just finished the stadium tour - there is a lot of walking so we were looking forward to lunch!! Food 10/10, staff (especially Jackie (ops manager) 10/10, service 10/10 absolutely no complaints. Hope to see you again soon 👍

I took my Dad and my son to the Skyline and it just never fails to deliver on all fronts. The menu is great, something for everyone. The food we all had was first class, everyone of us finished everything we had. The service , as always was excellent , the staff are genuine, helpful, polite. We will be back..again and again

Fantastic meal last night with my husband and son. Loved the fact that kids could choose courses from the main menu as well as the children’s menu. Both the boys had the Chicken and Black Pudding Terrine for starters, mains were the Venison Bourguignon (phenomenal), the kids burger (massive!) and the Sweet Potato Curry (unreal!). For dessert we had the sticky toffee, the peanut banoffee and the Oreo brownie - again, all just fantastic. The boys had breakfast there too and again, everything was great. Hats off to all of the staff, both front of house and in the kitchen. Service was attentive and friendly and the chefs all did an amazing job in producing top notch food that looked and tasted amazing. The first time we’ve eaten there but it certainly won’t be the last. Thank you!

Excellent and friendly service from Mathew in the bar and very good and friendly service from Carrie in the restaurant. Food as ever excellent, with good portions. A couple of small criticisms, on previous visits we have always enjoyed the view over the city but, for some reason, the curtains were closed on this occasion. Also the TV being on showing darts, although with sound off, was a distraction that was not needed. These minor points did not spoil a great experience as always. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended

Everything was excellent except for the long wait between main course and dessert. Waitresses were very pleasant and apologetic. Apparently a member of staff had not turned up and the others were having to cover when Sundays are the busiest day. The area, being a bigger size than previously, and being busy meant it was noisier than previously. However, it was acceptable.

Massive thanks to Lauren and all the staff working while we were there on Friday lunch time. They are all very friendly staff have us time to order as there were 7 of us everyone changing their mind a few times what they wanted. Food is amazing as always birthday girl had a great day and we even left half the cake for the staff to have a bit. Thanks again for a lovely meal and 10/10 to the lovely staff too ❤️

First time here and the whole vibe was amazing. The staff couldn’t do anymore for you if they tried. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was beautiful and great value for money. We will definitely be back.

A very unexpected find at Tynecastle Stadium, the Skyline Restaurant is first class on every level. Attentive and friendly staff, nice space and food to die for. The chef and his staff know what they are doing.

As usual the food served is of great quality and service is great. Always love going to the Skyline. However a noticeable difference since we last dined in December 23 is the lack of a set lunch menu, there is only a Dinner menu. This means dining at lunchtime Friday and Saturday is now £8 more expensive for a 2 or 3 course meal each. That significantly added to the total bill, which is disappointing and means we won’t be going as often as we have been.

We booked the opening offer of dinner bed and breakfast at the new hotel. The whole experience from start to finish was lovely. The food in the skyline restaurant was delicious, the staff were fabulous and the drinks were great. I recommend the Guinea fowl, the merlot and the apple cherry whisky sour! Special mention to Jackie who I think was the manager in the restaurant, she is an absolute joy! Huge thanks for making our stay so fabulous. We loved every minute!

Marvellous setting. Good food. Nice staff, especially Graham who was exceptionally helpful. Will definitely be back.

The staff were lovely and friendly , food was lovely , fast service Place is sooo nice inside and reasonably priced will definitely be back 5 stars all round!! Thanks to the chefs , bar staff and waiting staff

The food was perfect. Delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff were lovely. Not the fastest but no complaints!
