The overall ambiance was enjoyable especially with floral backdrop all over the restaurant. Thr food was delicious; the cocktails were optically appealing. However the service K found from the last 3 instances @ Skinos can be better. It seemed there were not enough wait service to attend to the lunch crowd during a work week.

We visited for our 2 year anniversary and it was everything!!! From the moment we walked in till the time we left! The food, drinks, service and ambience were all on point! Highly recommended and will definitely be back the next time we are in NY.

The restaurant itself was beautiful decor 10/10 drinks was good also but the food was very mediocre and not worth the price

The ambiance and service 10/10 but the food is over priced for the quality. i had a lobster pasta that was $72, the noodles were over cooked , sticking together , it was very sweet and just didn’t meet the standard. the grilled octopus had weird after taste.

When we arrived we were told that we can’t be seated until our entire party arrived which we were never notified before hand when I booked the reservation and spoke to them on the phone multiple times. When we finally got to our table they sat out group at the back and effortlessly put tables together with lounge chairs that were very uncomfortable to sit in and were very wide to the point that it was difficult to move around in since we were tightly squeezed together. However, we sat across two other big groups but their sitting arrangements were different better because of their ambience and had better tables and chairs with lots of space. The most upsetting part of my experience was the food because it took almost 3hrs to fine come. After the 3 hour wait half of my party of 15 guest including me were very upset with the quality of the food. Most of us ordered steak and asked for medium well but we ended up getting well done. The steak was very tough to chew on and difficult to even cut. When I told the waiter about our problem he said the best he can do was take 1 item off the bill which I appreciated but it’s just still upsetting to wait 3 hrs for a meal and not get what you wanted. The waiter did give us shots in the house to compensate for the mistake of the chefs though. Once we got the bill and my party was ready to leave, two staff members was cleaning up the table but as one of them is cleaning the table he’s rudely pushing me from behind and not apologized nor did he care that he was pushing me. I tried to confront him but he ignored me and walked off. Overall, my experience was terrible for my first time experiencing Skinos and I would not recommend coming back here again. I do appreciate the waiter for trying his best to make the experience better.

Wow. I have never been here before but booked it for a post event team dinner. We were 12 people. The food was outstanding. Service very good. The decor is eclectic, not sure how I feel about it. The place is a little loud, but overall we were all very happy with it. I look forward to coning back.

Skinos restaurant was an amazing Greek dining experience. The atmosphere was great - quiet and cozy, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Greek flavors that left me wanting more. The prices were perfectly reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food and service. I would highly recommend Skinos to anyone looking for a fantastic Greek restaurant experience.

The service they provide us was amazing! Our server was super patients and very friendly! They were very detailed with every course, and they even make my mom feel very special on her birthday!

While the ambience is a bit over the top (might be geared to a younger crowd) the service is top notch and the food is amazing. Very much worth a visit.

Super nice birthday dinner here. We came sunday night and it wasn’t too loud which we liked. We got a very nice table near the flowers. The food and service were great. Definitely coming back

The decor of the restaurant is amazing. The color scheme the lighting. The ambience is completely set for a wonderful date night or girls night. The food is also amazing. A very good match made in heaven.

I booked with this restaurant almost 3 weeks prior to the day. My reservation was cancelled so then i re-booked. when i was contacted to confirm the reservation i was told that there was a $190 fee because it was a buffet day. i was not told this when i made the reservation neither was i called to inform me that there was a fee and i was never charged a fee when i made the reservation. never been there, never going, i'am not from NYC so i was visiting, bad experience.

My party & I had an amazing time at Skinos. Service was 10 out 10. Food was amazing! Recommend the Lamb chops! Drinks were perfect. Ambiance was so beautiful! We will be back for brunch!

Celebrate my birthday at Skinos and so glad I did. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was PLENTIFUL and delicious. The service was amazing. This place did not disappoint.

Only good thing this place has is the space itself. Very nice looking restaurant but everything else needs improvement! To start the drinks were mediocre and pricy, if you’re going to charge me $22 for a margarita I would expect it to not taste like straight lime juice. The crowd it attracts isn’t what we expected, I thought I was in bushwick In the early 90s, loud & obnoxious. Proceed to the food, mussels were dry! No sauce at all and when we proceed to inform waitress she says yes we do them dry here, it’s Greek. Excuse me, but it isn’t our first time ordering mussels and whether they are greek or Italian (she said Italian ones have sauce) they are mussels in sauce regardless & if they are served “dry” she could of told us ahead of time. We ordered the steak medium well and got it medium rare, had to send it back to cook some more but by the time it was brought back the sides were cold. Only delicious food items were the Greek salad, sea bass over risotto and calamari (hard to mess up calamari & Greek salad so that’s a given). Overall not at all what we expected, save your time and go to KYMA instead.

I’m very grateful for the patience and the accommodation of the staff ! Everything was splendid from the ambience to the service and the food ! They accommodated my large party very well. No deposit needed and the original amount of people changed and the worked with the increase of people really well. Then to top it off the chef came out to greet us! Sb: the calamari was amazinggggg and the salmon was splendid
