I had lamb chops because I thought they would be very good with a kiss of the wood fire Unfortunately no such flavor was in evidence and the double chop on the plate was raw The veggie s accompanying were very good but all in all just a MEH meal for me

Four of us gals met for lunch out in the patio on a gorgeous CA day. The ambience was quiet (we were the only group outside). The food was delicious! We ordered an appetizer, bread, two salads and two pastas and a bottle of rose and split it amongst the four of us. That was perfect - no leftovers or wasted food. Pricing was ok for a "fancy" restaurant.

Service was great, food was delicious, and drinks were also great. Ambiance is quieter but also went earlier at 5:30 and it got louder later on.

I’m not one to usually give reviews but I was not pleased. We liked the atmosphere and the service was fantastic, but I was really underwhelmed with the pasta. My husband felt the same about his steak. It was cooked the way he likes but lacked any type of flavor. Also, I used my debit card at the valet when we left. I woke up to find the my card had been charged an additional 4 times. I did not use the same card for dinner that I used in the valet. I recommend using cash.

One of our go to spots for large groups and small parties. The ambiance is great. The service is excellent and the food never disappoints. They have a great whiskey collection and wine options from old world to new. We had another great night.

Every course demonstrated great culinary skill; the service was authentic and attentive; the physical ambience is laudable . menu pricing is quite reasonable for the quality, ambience, and service.

We ordered three appetizers and they were all very delicious — the pork/beef meatballs, the zucchini blossoms, and the chanterelle mushrooms.

We were a party of 7 and everyone's food did not come out together. The waiter was not attentive. We asked the manager to check on the pizza that someone from our group had ordered, we were all done with our plates, and he still hadn't eaten. No apologies or the disency to take it off the bill. We even had to get up and find our waiter so he can take our drink order because he took our food order and took all the menus. For the money we spent, this place was not worth it at all.

Brera was a nice find in DTLA. Homemade pasta was delicious! They had a good wine selection and they were creative with their cocktails. Their desserts were also good. I would definitely return.

Kinda disappointed. The kale pesto gnocchi were amazing. Only plate we tried worth going to the restaurant for. Food is just okay. Absolutely nothing special. If it weren’t so overpriced, this review would be different but for the same price, you can eat at restaurants in area that are a THOUSAND times better (like Bestia, or Bavel or any other). Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Brera is notable for Northern Italian food that is extremely high in quality and authenticity. The service is also excellent. I have never had a bad meal - only good, and great. I highly recommend the donzelle, the risotto milanese and the gnocchi, as standout dishes. It is not inexpensive, but you get quality in return, so the value-for-money is excellent. That's why this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

The food at Brera makes your taste buds sing! I know it’s corny, but it’s true. Their green salad has this light dressing that is so refreshing. The prosciutto pizza was to die for. My boyfriend had the Papatelle and I had the Nettle Pasta with walnut. We walked out full with smiles in our face. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. It was outstanding!! Oh, and the drinks are strong and good!

Thanks for hosting our large party. Really enjoyed a great dinner with great service. Would recommend to anyone. If you are staying downtown near convention center, about a 10 min Uber. You go through an interesting part of LA but the food is worth it.

1st visit. I used to go to 6th & mill the pizzeria they used to run. And unfortunately, it looks like it close now. Overall, this was a really good experience. Food was delicious, we had the diavola pizza-a nice spicy pepperoni pizza, the pork shank with polenta and the red snapper. Chianti, a lemon drop, a light beer and a barolo were the drink for the night. Only thing, the barolo was corked a had turned. But overall I’d come back. Looks like a great spot in the summer. The patio is left to be desired during the winter.

Amazing food, we really had a great time with a large party of 16. Servers were very kind polite and the service was very quick. We really recommend this place, the pasta is really good!

Food was not up to par. My forth time here and I was disappointed in the food also the service. The buccatini pasta was extremely fishy, so was the swordfish. The service was very rushed at first but then turned out to be decent. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

One of our cocktails wasn’t delivered with the rest of the drinks and so we asked for it. The restaurant ended up charging us for 2 cocktails when we only ordered 1. Not only did they bring the cocktails more than halfway thru our meal, but they overcharged us for it.

Nice place for upscale italian food. Food is good, just heavy on the noodle portion of the serving. Servers are quick to take your plate away, (you might have wanted that last bite! ha!). Ambiance is fantastic! Great place over all.

My girlfriend and I found BRERA almost last minute for Valentines Day. We were able to make a 9:30p reservation. When we got there, it was packed and we ended up getting sat 50 min later at 10:20. Aside from the chaos of people getting sat, hands down the best Italian meal we’ve had in a long time. Food was outstanding, wine and cocktail menu was spot on. The service was great and we ended up getting a free dessert for waiting so long. The meal was worth the wait! We can’t wait to go back and try their lunch.

We came on Valentine’s Day with a reservation but the line to check in wasn’t a line at all. Very unorganized and midway through providing our resy info, the hostess stepped away without saying anything to seat another party. Just wasn’t an efficient process whatsoever & got sat 25 min after our reservation. The ravioli though… phenomenal! Brownie was worth burning it had a foul flavor like a canna brownie would 0/10 for that, good wine & gelato. I’m sure the experience is better on less busy days.
