We go to the Silks Clubhouse quite regularly and love going there. We can DEFINITELY tell that there have been some fantastic improvements done to the overall property and to the Clubhouse. The paddock and the winners circle were freshly painted and it looks very appealing!! The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive to our needs!!! The food was SUPERB!! The chef did a fabulous job on the lasagna, it was absolutely amazing. We found ALL of the food to be very tasteful with lots of delicious flavor. One small recommendation would be to install he clear glass back in front of the salad bar for "protection purposes" and maybe get some fresher salad fixings, possibly consider adding some craisins (dried cranberries)!! We are looking forward to our future visits. Thank you for such GREAT experience!! Hats off to all of the servers!! :)

Had to wait 10 min to be seated with a reservation. Had to track down a staff just for drinks. Had to get staff agin just to get a wrist band to eat. Then took management to pass for us to get someone to pay.

$29.95 for what was the equivalent of dog food. The lettuce at the salad bar was brown, the stewed chucked was all bones hardly any meat. The meat balls were not real meat ( I think they were spam ) It was so bad the other 3 in my party wouldn’t eat. Another person in my party that did eat the buffet ) salad bar and a meatball with mashed potatoes? Ended up in the restroom 4 times and we had to leave early because of it. Don’t waste your money the burgers and fries downstairs are way way better

Food is hit and miss They have a lot of fried/breaded food. If you have food allergies this is probably not the place to eat The betting machine hardly work properly. Frustrating when sitting in the lower level and end up having to walk up 3 flights of stairs to bet. Need more more betting machine and also in working order

Everything was really great. Our waitress was less than stellar. We had to find a manager to get any drinks refilled. The website said we could order off the spotted horse menu and she said she didn't have a menu and then just stared at us. Everyone else was great.

So the noise level is to be expected in a clubhouse at the race track. Not a bad place to watch the races but definitely won’t eat again unless it improves a lot. Gumbo wasn’t terrible but the rest of the food was just bland and weird. No seasoning, gravy out if a can, meatballs seemed like they were over worked and come from a frozen bag. The bread pudding was probably made in house but the rest of the desserts bought at walmart. Who has had pineapple in the bread pudding rum sauce? Just wierd.

The buffet was very overpriced for what was offered. We were not even told what was offered at the buffet. Very disappointed that we could not order from a menu!

Food was nasty. Service was very slow. Air conditioning was not working. Club house the last 5 years has only gotten worse.

Buffet was not very good. All meat did not have any seafood. The ribs tasted old. The brisket had a marinade on it which was horrible. Did not taste like brisket. Actually the whole buffet ordeal was horrible. The only food that we could eat was the gumbo and potato salad. Having no type of seafood lack their ability to satisfy customers who don’t eat meat.
