    This unique experience allows guests to enjoy a variety of chef’s top seasonal cuisines in artful presentation. This experience is available to party sizes of two or four. All guests are served the same menu driven from the current yields of our local purveyors (allergies can be accommodated with advance notice). Requested times are subject to adjustments. Add-ons such as wine pairings, bourbon tasting or cocktail pairings are available to enhance your experience. PLEASE NOTE: We kindly advise against modifications to Chef's Tasting menu selections. Each item is a composed dish that Chef has created. If you are not open to fully experiencing Chef's creative selections; we strongly suggest you order from our regular daily menus.

    This place is outstanding. Farm to table done right! Our server was George and he did an excellent job but he was also surrounded by a whole team that made the experience incredible. It’s hard to find good food when traveling. But good food and creative food is a plus. Highly recommend.

    Our meal was fantastic, all the flavors were very different and unique to the area being locally sourced. Our server was absolutely fantastic and helped make our dining experience even more fun and enjoyable. The only knock I would say is that for the price some of the serving sizes for the chef’s tasting experience were very small. We are very thankful that a dining experience like this is available in our area!

    Absolutely will be back. Bread, mushrooms, salmon, burger and fries were SO good. George B was a great server and Chef Mike’s mushrooms were the best mushrooms I have ever tasted.

    We’ve patronized Silas too many times to count, because this isn’t your typical burger-eating-contest small town establishment. (We like those too; No shade intended!) Silas is more of a sensory experience… from the moment you step in the door. There is an energy in the buzz of conversations and clinking high-end glasses and flatware. The air is filled with tantalizing wafts of food, spices and cocktails. The seating design and flickering candle on each table makes your experience feel luxurious and intimate. We were seated with Sarah, a server who always makes us feel like old friends. Her enthusiasm for the latest menu was contagious; We eagerly ordered cocktails, side plates and entrees. There is such an excitement in the novelty of an ever-changing menu. It also feels good to support local farms where Silas often cultivates ingredients they haven’t grown themselves. Presentation was beautiful. Every bite of the meal was unique. We savored bites of crisp, rich mushroom in contrast with earthy beet and sweet leek, drizzled with an amazing hollandaise sauce. The scallops are prepared so that they melt in your mouth. The salmon, we agreed, was perhaps the best we had ever eaten. The Chef and his culinary team are highly skilled at combining flavors and ingredients in unexpected and delightful ways. Sarah kept our drinks full and our table clean, anticipating our every need before we did. Not until our walk home did we grin and chuckle to each other as we blamed her for our unintended dinner calories. Certainly we weren’t planning to indulge in an extra cocktail, but she made it too easy. The way she described homemade pie and clafoutis made them too irresistible to refuse (and they were!) Admittedly, it was just the mid-week pick-me-up we needed, and we are already scheming reasons to plan our next visit. -the Eshelmans

    Had an anniversary dinner with my wife. Preseco was brought to us when we were seated. Bread service was good. I also had a smokey Old Fashion which I would recommend. For dinner I had the catch of the day and thought it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the Prime NY Strip and while flavors were great, it didn't come as a single steak which was different. After dinner we learned that our bill was taken care of either by another patron or family member. Regardless of who it was THANK YOU as you made our Anniversary dinner even more memorable and we will be sure to pay it forward!
