I have been here 3 times in the last 6 years and it's still great! The service is excellent! The food is perfect. We had the filet and the strip steaks. Both were cooked perfectly. Love this place! Highly recommend!

Last minute plan but well worth it. Downtown locations need more recognition. Food was just as good or better than anything on west side and better value. Service was impeccable and all three different steaks came out just as ordered. Will recommend and visit again.

We were looking for just this kind of food and restaurant in a hotel and were pleased to find this place as an option. We had 9pm reservations and there were only 2 other tables being used on this Friday night with the hotel fully booked for the night. Drinks were delicious, husband had the bourbon old fashioned (1 of 4 types of old fashioneds they offered) and I had the Orchid which was delightful. We shared the meatball appetizer that my husband who LOVES Italian meatballs said were the best he’d ever had. They split the caprese salad and it too was good with a nice portion size. Husband ordered the filet mignon and we’re always nervous of ordering the done was but they did a great job on his medium rare, it was just right, nice and red but not a plate full of blood to go with that… the waitress helped with putting it in as medium rare plus she called it. I had the Berkshire smoked pork chop and it was delicious, had a bit of a slice to it which is right up my alley but I can’t say I was expecting that from the description so keep that in mind if you order it! We shared the whipped potatoes and we used the garlic butter on my husband’s filet on the potatoes and that really made them pop and they were good before we added the butter. Rather than getting dessert, we opted to go downstairs to their speakeasy, The Dockum, and continue having more good cocktails down there with live entertainment. All in all we are glad we chose this place! The only issue we started to have, but was quickly remedied, was upon arriving the hostess wanted to seat us right next to a table of 2 couples. I was thankful when my husband asked if we could surely sit at one of the many other empty tables, she accommodated our request… it would have been very awkward as even across the restaurant they were having a good time and kind of loud and we could still hear a lot of their conversation and loud laughing… which I’m glad they were having a good time and it did NOT interfere with our meal!

Service was wonderful and wine special much appreciated. We went straight to main entree and had steaks. Cooked to order but mashed potatoes were cold. They were kind enough to replace. We will be back next time in town. Also, hotel very nice to stay.
