Named for the curvature on the side of a ski or snowboard, Sidecut Modern Steak + Bar offers a modern take on traditional mountain cuisine. Enjoy dishes such as the Steakhouse "Sushi" Roll or prime-aged steakhouse cuts, cooked to perfection and inimitably paired with house-made rubs and signature sauces. We stayed at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler two nights, and are comeback customers of SIDECUT. Our servers were very attentive and also patient to introduce the menu. Foods are top-notched as always. Will come back again whenever we visited Whistler again :P

Amazing service and delicious food ! We felt welcome and appreciated from the moment we walked in. Each encounter we had was such a special interaction and it was easily one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had.

Wonderful experience. We loved the bread service. We had the oysters and Cesar salad to start. The long bone was to die for. I highly recommend because it was worth waiting an hour for medium rare and came out so perfect. You could probably feed 4 people with it. It came with roasted garlic, red wine jus, and herb accompaniments. It was also carved table side (thank goodness). Really delightful steak one of the best tomahawk experiences I’ve ever had. We had the mushroom risotto and the broccolini for sides and shared a bottle of the Chilean cab sav. 10/10 would love to dine here again

Amazing food/cocktail/service!!! The steak and seafood mix is highly recommended for two to share. The cocktail is innovative, better than what I had in Vancouver.

Nearly Perfect We visited during the Spring Tasting Menu. The offerings were diverse and elevated. Service was spot on. The sushi appetizer scallop, and steak were wonderful. The dessert was the only exception to perfection.

Wow! Damien & Oliver were simply amazing people who love people and love food! I got the 6-oz tenderloin and it was perfect! The Lobster & Truffle Mac was to die for. We will go back every time we are in Whistler!

An incredible experience. From the beautiful sour dough bread and maple butter, roasted octopus and a most perfectly cooked prime striploin with duck fat finished potatoes the food wanted for nothing. The service was incredible and personable. Jessica was wonderful. I can’t wait to return again. Thank you!

Excellent service and food was wonderful! We lucked out with having the best wait staff in the world who were attentive and made good recommendations for dinner. They ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Appreciated the manager coming by to check on us as well! FIRST CLASS!!!!

I expected to pay a lot for a Four Seasons restaurant. But for what I knew I would pay I expected to have a truly excellent meal. However, I was disappointed. The service was very slow, our server wasn’t going nonstop the whole night, so I don’t believe it was her fault I think the restaurant was not staffed properly. There was a large private group in an area adjacent to us behind a translucent curtain. I think staff were pulled to work in there, leaving other tables sharing too few servers. I shared the chateaubriand with a family member, it was good, but I’ve had better steaks at other Whistler restaurants for one third the price. The area was so dark I had trouble reading my menu, one of my dining companions pulled out their phone flashlight to help. The need to do that is ridiculous. I will say one area where the restaurant shined was the servers attention to food allergies. I have a standard tree nut allergy, but another member of my party has 4 different food allergies, and the server ensured everything was safe, and had two of the side dishes prepared slightly differently so everyone at our table could enjoy them. In the end while overall it was enjoyable, we spent $1000 and have had meals just as good and with a more inviting atmosphere for less than half that elsewhere in Whistler.

I am surprised this is an "awarding winning" restaurant. It was like a zoo in there! It was ridiculously noisy with drunk people standing on a soap box talking very loudly. The server was no where to be found throughout our entire meal. The appetizers (lobster bisque and foie gras) were decent, just decent. The ribeye was horribly sweet and when you pair it with the asparagus (which they drenched in maple glaze), our taste buds and appetite were ruined for the rest of the evening. Don't go here even if you were to grab a quick bite.

The olive wagyu was the most incredible steak of my life. It is so rare, it does not even compare to other steaks. Service, ambience, etc. were excellent too. This is a true class act!

Friendly and attentive service. Food quality was excellent. Flavours were good - well executed but not complex. Mushroom pasta was fantastic with a healthy serving of mushrooms. Steelhead was outstanding. Masterfully cooked. Found it strange it did not come with anything on the side. Gnocchi texture was perfection. Flavour was delicate and okay. Portion size was oddly small. Table side orders were good. Most of the wine list was extra pricey. Many bottles were 4x retail instead of the 3x I am accustomed to.

For a “steakhouse”, the choices seemed fairly limited. Our server was fantastic and the room was dark and luxurious, but it was very underwhelming, especially for a Four Seasons property. High end hotel restaurant but not really a destination.

Highly recommended! Start out by arriving early and having a cocktail at Braidwood from their Fire & Ice menu. At Sidecut everything from the service, food, and setting were what we were looking for on a date night. We had the mussels, tenderloins, broccolini, and cheesecake. Our steaks were cooked as we requested and everything was delicious.

Service was incredible, adrian took very good care of our table. The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxing. We had the golden bridge cocktail which was incredible. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant was vibrant happening. Lots of fun people. The manager Panos could not have been more inviting overall, and A+ experience food , service , and ambience included.

Everything was excellent! From the starters to the desserts. Great service. I have been to Sidecut a few times over the years, and they always deliver. I strongly recommend the Chocolate Sufle as a dessert.

New Year's Day evening date night dinner. Have not been to Sidecut in a long time. We have been missing out. From the moment we were seated to our final note, we were impressed and appreciated the attention to detail of the service team. The food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend the sashimi starter and oysters. The burger was out of this world! We will dine here again at our next opportunity.

Our second time there was better than the first. Wine menu could be more extensive but we tried the olive Wagyu and it was cooked perfectly. Service was great and the ambiance is beautiful mountain steakhouse chic

The starters were excellent, and the plates came out hot. The staff were warm, fun and welcoming. Now for the 'but' the mains just didn't work because the gravy pot wasn't hot, same with the potatoes and broccolini so it was cold, the plates weren't warm, so by the time they'd served it was all not as it should have been. Potatoes were meant to be in goose fat and crispy, but they weren't, then being relatively cold didn't help. Was it worth a $1,100, no.

Had a really enjoyable visit at Sidecut. The atmosphere, cocktails, food and service were all very good. Our server Damien was helpful with recommendations and did an excellent job looking after us. Would certainly go back.

We ordered ribeye, brome duck and cheese cake. They were quite delicious. The duck liver was perfect and unique, which surpriseed me. The service was excellent. Definitely will go to try their other dishes 😃

We went to Sidecut for our 7th anniversary. It is a really amazing restraunt with excellent food and service! I think it is a bit pricey for the food, but other than that if you are looking for a true fancy fine dining experience I would reccomend it!
