Shore Leave is our interpretation of a tropical escape through the lens of our love for Boston’s rich dining scene.

Named after a sailor’s leisure time on dry land, Shore Leave’s tropical cocktails take you away from the hustle and bustle. We hope this space, music, and most importantly, our Shore Leave team, make every moment here feel like watching the sun go down with your feet in the sand. Tucked in off the main drag and just below the street in Boston’s South End, Shore Leave is here to bring you along on our everyday vacation.
Reservations are for dining only. We do not take reservations for "just drinks", so cancellation fees will apply. Just drinks-walk in for bar seats! We ID at the door. Underage guests are permitted but not permitted at the bar.

Stop by for live entertainment! Shore Leave hosts The People's Karaoke most Fridays beginning at 10pm and surf rock band The Electric Heaters Thursdays beginning at 8pm. Entertainment varies so call for details!

Bartender was a delight - he took the time to explain the ingredients and even offered to make me a cocktail off menu. We didn’t try the food since we had dinner earlier - but I can recommend the drinks and the service!

Food and cocktails were delicious; service was friendly and enthusiastic, but on the slow side, which apparently had to do with low bar and kitchen staff levels.

The Kentucky Derby party at Shore Leave is the best! I hope they’ll do it every year. This restaurant is so fun, everyone who works there is wonderful, and the sushi is top quality. It’s one of my favorite places.

We ended up sitting at the bar even though we had a resi. We like the scene of a bar, but like to have reservations as a fallback. The bartenders were AWESOME! Shoutouts to Kyle and River. Yummy drinks. Yummy food. Great atmosphere. 10/10, we will be back again.

Always a good experience here. Their drinks are unique and delicious - cocktails are priced high these days, but at least it was good! Food is tasty, good for small bites if you don't need a huge dinner. Ambiance is great - underground almost speakeasy vibe, and (at least when I've been there) they have fun supper club music piped in that doesn't overwhelm the room and lets you hear people when they're talking. It's been a great addition to the neighborhood!

The food was terrible, the noise from the announcer was annoying, and the prices were insane.
