The food was dry. They didn’t have brisket or pulled chicken. Our server was new and very nice. She did a good job as a new server. Not sure where the manager was to help but felt she was left by herself.

The service was incredibly slow and our waiter was rude. 2 of our orders were wrong and late but he blamed the food runners. Food was just okay but everything was over cooked.

We walked in and it took close to 10 minutes for them to acknowledge we were there, then another 10 to clean a table. Food took a while to show up but that wasn’t a big deal. When it did show up not everyone got their food and it was another 10 minutes before they do. Service was incredibly slow. Dessert to go was ordered and it was close to 30 minutes before it arrived. We ended up being at the restaurant 2.5 hours and not because we wanted to be there that long but how incredibly slow they were. Positive note the food was delicious.

They should not have a person playing loudly right at dinner time when people are trying to have a conversation, light background music is OK but not loud live music playing. Apparently the system was down so we can give them a little leeway but 3 tables came in after us and received their food before we even had all of our drinks. Unfortunately out of nine meals, only 3 were pretty good, two of the meals were not eaten and the others were eaten becaseu we were hungery but they were nothing to brag about. \I would recommend Shiners but with a worning

Really cool atmosphere- great and attentive service from Aiden. Our family of 5 enjoyed brisket sandwich, salad and delicious cornbread. Will definitely come back!

Had a reservation. Hostess greet us with a frown and an “ oh and okay” attitude. Sat us. Restaurant wasn’t busy. Waited ten minutes to be acknowledged. No water. No I’ll be right with you. Two waitresses passed us with no acknowledgement. Everyone looked like they didn’t want to be there. So disappointing. Food smelled good but can’t rate the food because we were never given the chance to taste. We walked to another place around the corner for food and drink. All we needed was an acknowledgment that we were there. Pretty sure we won’t be back.

We my have had an unusual experience being St Patrick’s day but some regular menu items that we went there to try weren’t available. There were only a few other people there with the DJ playing loud. Wait staff was great. If the full menu was available, probably would have been much better.

Servers seemed overwhelmed by the capacity, kitchen is really far away from dining area. Appetizers were okay for the price, the beef brisket was amazing, server seemed to want to rush us, but we sat for hours with drinks, apps and dinner. We tipped really well for how long we took up our table. Random staff would come up to take items off our table very periodically like they didn’t have enough dishes. We had a fun time with the entertainment around 10:30pm, then it got really loud and a bar full of a young crowd. Good time but not a great atmosphere to just sit and catch up with the girls.

Boy I hate giving a pore review but it deserves it. The server we had was great, the food was mediocre at best and the drinks we had had no liquor in them. I had the blackberry moonshine and it tasted great but I could have drank ten of them and still blew a 0 on the meter. We went early for "beginners" line dancing. What a joke, not one easy line dance and after the first one they went to a "choreographed" dance which lasted till 9. Are you kidding me! Beginners line dancing? 90 percent of the people couldn't get it, we couldn't have got it in a week of dancing 2 hrs a day. Not beginners night! We left at 9 and by the way there were 4 of us. What a waste of time and money.

This was the best experience is every way. The service was amazing. Everyone working there was nothing but kind. Food was amazing, drinks were decent price and so good. Will definitely be returning soon.

Food was good! Service was not! I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years as a hostess, food runner, server, and bar tender; so I am very understanding of being busy and/or understaffed. But this was insane. Had a reservation for 7pm for 2 people. Took 20mins to be greeted, we ordered everything and asked for our appetizer to come out first. Our drinks did not come for another 30mins, and it seemed to be a floor manager that brought them, she also went and got us more water since we were out. Our food came out another 25mins later, all at once. Food was good! Our server finally came over for the second time all night once we had already finished. I had put my card on file and asked them to run it, but they just brought the check and I gave my card there. I will come back for lunch one day to see if it was just a bad night.

Food and drinks were good. We were there earlier than our reservation and saw our table ready but weren’t sat until 10 minutes after reservation time, didn’t make sense. Feel like our poor server was the only one working and he was busting his butt.

They were very busy but they brought us incorrect food at least 3 times and forgot one of our orders. Neat place inside with live music but was too loud to hold a conversation with your group.

I have to start that the food and atmosphere was actually really good - it’s just unfortunate that Many tables, including ours, waited over 90min to get their food. We ended up going to the bar to get drinks instead of our waitstaff in on us. They were nice enough to comp our appetizers for the wait, but by then it had turned into a dancing bar

First visit. Food was very good, and portions large. Presentation was very good, and service was good but not exceptional. We enjoyed the live entertainment, but this is not a place for a quiet meal.

Not bad, but not great either. The place looks nice, but it's not easy to chat comfortably. They have draft beers in 16 or 32 ounces, and the 32-ounce one comes in a pitcher. They ask if you want a glass, which feels a bit strange since who would want to drink from the pitcher? The beer choices aren't fantastic, but they do have other options in cans and bottles. We saw a cracked pitcher and a chipped glass during our visit. The food was okay, but a bit pricey. The sandwiches come with overcooked chips, and if you want different sides, you have to pay more. On the bright side, the fries were really good. The staff was friendly, which was nice. Overall, it's not bad, but a few tweaks could make it a better place to visit.

The place was not busy at all. Pleasant enough atmosphere other than the music being ridiculously loud. Food was good, service was fine, but at over $200 for five people — three of whom are kids and none of whom drink alcohol — the cost was totally out of line. Glad to have tried it, but not something I’ll have again.

We were in town for a football game. First time for everybody. Brisket was great and very tender. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. Service was slow, but the place was very busy. Saturday night, Xavier/Cincinnati game on TV, and Santacon all contributed. Overall, we enjoyed it and would return.

I would definitely recommend the food is great and the location on the levee is amazing. We went during Santacon so it was a little louder than usual but nothing that was over the top noise wise. We tried most of their sides and I can say they are tasty and they have an great beer offering. All in all great experience.

Great as usual. Brought friends who had never been and they loved it too. They will be back too.

Shiners was accommodating to our request. The service from Josie was excellent and the food is delicious.

The brisket was the amazing, The staff never made us feel rushed. Truly a wonderful atmosphere with as a restaurant and a bar with live music on the weekend.

We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and the restaurant was not crowded. There were a few sitting at the bar but the tables were open. When we were seated we waiting quite some time and then an employee came over and stated that she wasn’t our server but would take our drink order. We received our drinks and waiting longer until the same server who was not assigned to us came back and took our food order. It took a very long time before our food came out. The young woman who brought our food out was very rude and asked where who had what dishes sat them down and said nothing. I mentioned we were missing a dish and she said nothing turned around and left. Our sever who was assigned to us came over and apologized that he was delayed and I asked him about our missing dish and he looked up and saw the young woman bringing our dish. She practically threw the dish on the table not saying one word and left. This was be far the worst experience we have ever had. The food was really good however the dish that was brought out later was lukewarm. The experience was so bad that even though the food was good we will never return.

The food was good, the brisket is outstanding! The chicken sandwich was okay, but didn’t even come close to the brisket. The service was excellent and everyone there was kind and friendly. The only downside were the alcoholic beverages, they were very watered down, at quite expensive with them being so watered down. But I would definitely go back for the brisket!
