Set in the idyllic beachside town of Lennox Head in Northern New South Wales, Shelter is your home away from home, whether you are just passing through or you’re part of the local community. With the community in mind, we endeavor to use ethically sustainable, seasonal products sourced from local producers and suppliers. We are also keen on cultivating and creating awareness of the importance of supporting local growers while educating people about the food they consume as well as where it’s from and how it’s produced. We offer a full service venue from a picturesque beachside ceremony location (across the road), cocktail outdoor area and indoor restaurant with windows folding right back to bring the outdoors in. Our in-house co-ordinator will make preparation for and the running of your day a breeze as we include liaising with the chefs and suppliers, run sheet and coordination on the day. ACCOMMODATION - CUPOLA Recently and tastefully renovated, highlighting the sun from the moment it rises until the stars come out at night, this little nest above our restaurant is the perfect place to stay after your celebrations.     What an amazing night. Originally our table was inside but it was so very noisey and hot, we could not hold a conversation at all. We asked the waitress if there was any chance of moving outside and they couldn't have been more helpful, keeping us updated on things until eventually we had an outside table. The quality and flavour of the food was out of this world, everything cooked to perfection. The service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing or rushed. Definitely recommend Shelter

    An excellent restaurant that is well worth supporting. The effort invested in the cooking is impressive, and the service is impressive. The ambience on a sunny day is outstanding. Generally, though, prices have become a bit steep over recent years, so using this restaurant as the "go to" establishment will become a bit less likely.

    Our party of 4 all agreed the event was a huge success. Every course was delicious and very unique. Staff were informative and friendly. All in all an excellent evening
