Shell Shack is a well-known seafood restaurant and bar in Plano, Texas. Established in 2015, this restaurant has a casual and inviting ambiance. I made a reservation for 3 pm on Mothers Day to find when I got there it wasn’t honored. The hostess made me and my kids wait 45-50. The hostess took my information and said she would call when they are ready to seat us us but we never received a call. Come to find out she wrote it down wrong. Watch several people get a table before us although they came after us. The seafood boil bag was a little skimpy with only 3 sliced sausages in it. The waitress was amazing and very attentive so she made up for all the foolery coming in.

We were there to celebrate a birthday. The service was mediocre. The tables were unstable/wobbly. The food was not good. The spinach dip barely had spinach. The crab tots barely had any crab. The crab legs were old. They tasted weird…like maybe they had them too long. This place is supposedly under new management and the menu had changed a bit. It seems as though the quality of food has changed as well. Everything was different…even down to the fried catfish. We won’t be returning.

Eating our selections outside on a perfect day was wonderful. Our food and service was outstanding. We will be back!

We took our grandkids for the grandson's 10th birthday. He powered down the MVP platter and our 7 year old granddaughter did the same on a lb. of the snow crab. We had a great server and all enjoyed our meals. I had the dungeness crab.....great. Go and enjoy a good meal and a good time.

I had the lobster and it was overcooked and soooo small. I just ordered the 1 pound whole lobster and I know I’m only getting the tail and claw meat but they are charging $31 for the smallest piece of meat. Ridiculous Everyone else had crab. That was good

Food and service was great we just were at a table were the same dam server every time she walked by she hit my chair not once did she say iam sorry I think that’s rude I get it if it happens once but not every time she walked by told the manager and he just blew it off probably will try another location next time

Enjoyed it. Boiled seafood very good. Drinks not really worth it. Service very good even though server was stretched thin. Lastly, a seafood’ place should know what a remoulade sauce is.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Made a reservation for 6 for my family and I, at 5p. We were seated and at 5:25 we walked out due to no one even coming to speak or acknowledge we hadn’t been serviced. Management needs to get this together. Will not return.
