Shalom Y'all is an exploration and celebration of the Levant. We combines flavors and dishes from the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East with the produce and proteins of the Pacific Northwest to produce a phenomenal menu. Some standout items include the grilled lamb chops in Greek vinaigrette, the Baharat spiced chicken kebab served over mejadara, and our silky hummus served with fresh baked pita.

Shalom Y'all is located in the heart of Eastside Portland, Oregon and boasts a charming, industrial atmosphere featuring exposed cement walls flanked by warm wooden accents. You'll experience innovative yet approachable cuisine, an inspired menu of cocktails and beverages, all in a lively atmosphere.

We are currently reserving seating in our Dining Room, our Bar (21+), and our Chef's Counter.

    Five stars for the food and service—-and I’ve only given those once before in Portland. Overwhelmingly delicious and creative vegetables (we tried several), the salad was scrumptious and sumptuous, the chicken Kabobs were so much more than that, the wine offerings included my favorite regeneratively grown pinot noir, and the deserts…….ah, the deserts (strawberry shortcake raised to the highest art, and turkish coffee affogato with hosemade cardamom-and-other-stuff ice cream, and some little things that were called cookies (but that was so inadequate a label—they were more like fruit macaroons.) They were served hot, by the way…. and the ice cream was high art. The entire meal was high art. The ambience was great, the decor pleasing —modern and artful—and the prices were reasonable for such stupendous offerings. The tables were, as often happens, a tad close together and some folks next to us were quite loud, but those are quibbles. We enjoyed the trains sounding their horns as they rushed past, and the casual atmosphere is always preferable, as far as we’re concerned. Parking was a snap. We’ll be regulars.

    Terrific lamb, the most amazing hummus, piping fresh hot pita, decadent olive oil chocolate cake, fries were on point, the roasted eggplant app was divine. Very attentive service. If I had a complaint it would be about the prices but I understand they need to make a profit. We will be back for sure!

    Carefully crafted, nicely presented, flavorful food. Nice ambience with a variety of seating options. Our server Kyle was especially gracious, outgoing and knowledgeable. We would return just to be assisted by him. Some of the smaller dishes seemed pretty steeply priced given ingredients and preparation, but they were fairly described, so I guess it is what it is. Pita is just amazing.

    Highly recommend this restaurant. Great vibe. Exceptional service. The dinner menu offers lots of delicious, small plate options. Loved the variety in flavors and spices. Everything put in front of us was beautifully presented and delicious! The only complaint we had was the noise, but it won't keep us from coming back.

    The food is next-level amazing. The Huumus and chicken shwarma salad is enough and share and super yummy!

    The is the best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The food was phenomenal, the service was incredible, and the cocktails were divine!
