Located within the Grandscape development in The Colony, Texas, Seven Doors Kitchen & Cocktails is an approachable modern American grill serving chef-inspired shared plates and entrées. Everyone is Very attentive , and the timing on food arrival is perfect. The portions are satisfying. Love the ambiance. Would definitely recommend.

Meh. Martini was average. Margarita was missing the salt. Tuna poke tacos were meh. Korean BBQ tacos were good. Cuban sandwich was meh. Truffle fries were ok, but had big cuncka of of cheese on top. For $115- under whelming. We won’t be back. Executive sous chef ran around but was spending more time talking to young hostesses vs customers or controlling what’s coming out of his kitchen. I give this place 2 years. v

Food was okay. But my wife had to send her burger back 3 times. They never asked in the first order how she’d like her burger. Then brought it medium rare. Then we asked for well done. It came back medium. Then they got it right. With all of this waiting all of our other food got cold. Then the water said something about a dessert and it never came. Probably won’t got back. I will say that the wait staff was very kind.

Wednesday night is 50% off wine night.... popped in for happy hour about 5:30pm. The bar was hopping. Our server was Nirvana and she was fun and attentive. We ordered a bottle of Papillon and some shared bites. The rib eye sliders were very good...salt and pepper shrimp was good and the spicy tuna roll was tasty but not so week prepared. We ended with the Arugula and pear salad which was very tasty. All in all a very good happy hour experience.

Food has declined since the last time I was there. Lacking flavor and sushi rolls really missed the mark. Service was great but the place was pretty empty given it was dinner time. Use to be packed which says a lot.

Anna was our server, and she was wonderful, attentive, yet not overbearing. The food was delicious. My wife and I split two entries, and the kitchen gave us each our own plate. Since it was a salad and meal, Anna brought out the salad first, then our main course. We did not ask to do this, but it was so classy! Seven Doors is one of our top picks for lunch or dinner!

Valet was prompt and knew how to drive a stick shift. We were seated right away with our reservations. Our waiter came very quickly after we were seated. Our drinks, appetizers and food all came so quick and everything was delicious and fresh! The music was just the perfect volume where my husband and I could have a conversation and still listen to the music. This was our first time and we will definitely be back!

Honestly, I’ve never had a server serve food from over the barrier before. It was unexpected and awkward. Too much armpit exposure! Also, the man candy was not presented nicely. It looked like it was wrapped in toilet paper. My friend’s fish dish was really good. My prime rib was just plain ok. Your servers need to step it up to match the quality of the food served and need to be more presentable and personable too.

We met family there on May 19. Women both ordered steak salad. Steak was tough so one of party sent theirs back, it was returned cold! She just ate the salad. Manager did comp for meal and glass of wine but I was the other one who ordered the salad and I ate mine but it was tough. We have dined at 7 Doors several times and never had an issue with the food.

Everyone has different flavor profiles, for mine the steaks were under seasoned, the broccolini needed more cook time and the chimichurri had more of a pesto taste than chimichurri. The peppercorn aioli was good. Twice baked potato was good and desert was great. Overall, I wouldn't say no to a return trip, but there's other options I'd recommend first.
