Since 2021 Settlers Bay Lodge earned many awards such as ranking in the top 3 for Best; Restaurant, Appetizer, Seafood, Steak, Atmosphere, Company Party Venue, and Place to Go on a Date by the Frontiersman!

Executive Chef, Nathan Michaud has crafted a lovely menu that caters to many palettes. The crispy cajun calamari is a favorite, as well as the hand cut steaks with signature butter! Boasting an expansive wine, beer, whiskey, and cocktail menu a pairing can be made with any dish.

This casual fine dining experience comes with an Alaskan atmosphere adorned by brown bear, moose, caribou, and much more. Community member or traveler, we welcome you with warm hospitality and excellent service!

The food was so good. I love how they seasoned the steak before grilling it. The waitress was kind, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her birthday dinner. We will eat apps here again.

The Lodge offers a beautiful view. The service is outstanding. The French onion soup is sweet and savory. The Golden crab was served because they didn’t have king crab. It was very flavorful! I liked that it was split and easy to eat. The pepper steak was moist, but it lacked the flavor of pepper. We were too full to order dessert. Overall a great experience!

This restaurant is amazing. Food, view, service, everything. Highly recommend. My (now) husband and I had our first date here. Most amazing experience all evening.

Good food and good service for the most part. My date was not happy with her first drink but we ordered something else which she did enjoy. Could have bused the table more frequently. Not bad for a Tuesday night really. Wait staff was great.

Went to Settler's Bay Lodge for our 40th wedding anniversary. Had hoped for a nice cozy place with ambiance and an intimate feel along with some excellent food to make the night special. Unfortunately, what we experienced was less than anticipated. There were glaring lights beating down on the tables, a high ambient noise level with a remote undercurrent of music that combined for a spoiled atmosphere. The Prime Rib, one of my favorite dishes, appeared to be ill prepared using a mix of Italian flavored seasonings and black pepper; not a traditional rub and slow cook for a tender and tasty piece of meat. As a result, there was little flavor, other than on the outside with odd seasonings. The appetizer was excellent (artichoke and seafood dip on garlic bread), dessert (carrot cake) was good, as well (though, the spicy ginger candied jellies were offensive). Coffee was excellent, which stood out as the highlight.
