At SET L.E.S. we bring "hip" and "flavor" together in our energetic restaurant/bar located in the heart of Lower East Side, New York City. Nearing almost a decade, the restaurant has grown into a neighborhood gem, most known for, the Asian-inspired menu and palatable crafted cocktails. Went there specifically for the breakfast wontons - they were so bad we sent them back(and I am not one to just send back food on a whim). Breakfast tacos were ok but 2 SMALL tacos $24 not worth it. I wouldn’t go back.

The food was good. The drinks were ok but I had asking for refills on mimosas for our party of 5. The service felt very rushed to get us out. It was my best friends birthday brunch and I wish it would have been more comfortable for him.

SET is a great neighborhood sports bar with a little flair. It's always a friendly, jumping vibe when I come and would recommend it to anyone who just wants to have a drink at the bar and watch the game or go with some friends for a pregame meal/drink

The food was delicious. The brunch entrees were amazing! I wouldn’t suggest getting the breakfast wontons but we replaced it with the clams, which were yummy. Overall, a great experience & great service!!

Super cool spot on LES. A little loud but hey.. it’s the LES. Food and drinks were great. Good prices. We had the truffle burgers, tacos, skirt steak and wings. Service was fantastic too. Will return!!!

Food and service were great. There were a few issues though: 1. It was so so loud inside. The music and bass were so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk and asked to sit outdoors and 2. They completely overcharged us. Prices on the online menu were $1-2 cheaper than what we were charged AND there was an automatic 20% gratuity charged when that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the menu or on open table. I would understand if it was written somewhere or if we were a big group sat indoors but we were a group of 3 and sat outside too. Plus, it took a few tries to get the right subtotal and they kept charging us 20% on the original overcharged subtotal and not the new proper subtotal. They still ultimately overcharged us $0.42 but at that point we were too tired with the back and forth. We would’ve tipped 20-25% anyway because again the food and service were great but it really left a sour taste in our mouths and felt very scammy that nothing about a 20% gratuity was mentioned anywhere.

Sports bar vibes, friendly service from our waitress Lorraine and bartender Glen, and decent food! My party was running late but we never felt rushed. There was a 20% gratuity added to our bill which I'm glad we caught before adding more.

It was super fun that the staff commemorated a birthday at another table by playing a birthday song over the radio and having the server bring out special shots (unsure if that was ordered or included ) but definitely made that evening special for the birthday girl!
