One of the best dining experiences in NY. Service was amazing! Everyone was so attentive and pleasant! Food was so fresh, tasty and unique.

Bland Italian fare - you can do much better in NYC. We told the waiter the chicken was dry but he did nothing. Felt like a mass produced food factory for tourists.

The food lacked a lot of flavor and the service was lacking. We had to douse our halibut, and our pasta dish in salt, pepper, or crushed red pepper to add flavor. Was very bland and over priced. The drinks were ok, but not worth the value. Most people are there just to sit in the rooftop, which is very pretty. But wouldn’t recommend eating there.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant with indoor/outdoor ambiance. I had the ravioli and my dad had the branzino and a side of asparagus. We also had a couple of cocktails and it all was excellent. Our server, Tom, was professional and fun. We ended with the tiramisu that was absolutely fantastic. Overall a great experience, we would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back!

Limited menu, but we had no trouble finding dishes or wine that suited us. The quality of both was outstanding. Our waitstaff was clearly overworked— but that impression was from observation, not our service experience, which was first rate: cheerful, helpful, competent, & (in their dealings with us) unrushed. The ambiance is pretty bad: crowded, hectic, & noisy, and the fixtures are basic. Given that it was May and from other reviews, we expected lush, sylvan decor — and there was lots of green but basic and slapped together.

My dinner experience at Serra by Birreria was amazing! The restaurant itself is beautiful (worth every Instagram pic!) and the food was fantastic… but the best part of our night was interacting with Lisa the hostess! She was beyond friendly and accommodating while I waited for the rest of my party to arrive. She’s even gave recommendations of what to order. Serra by Birreria is a 10/10, but Lisa the hostess is 100/10!!!

The food is terrific as are the cocktails. The shortcoming on this visit was the service. This was at lunchtime so we expected better. We ordered drinks and the wait was more than 15 minutes, which might be acceptable if the place was at capacity, but it was not. It seemed there was not enough waitstaff. It was the same with the food. One in our group could not finish because she had to get back to work. (She works on the same block and had an hour break.) Clearly for lunch service more staff is needed.

Great atmosphere, very busy and our server rushed a bit, the appetizer wasn’t amazing (ricotta and spring veggies), the main was PERFECTION (tagliatelle in short rib ragù), and the dessert was watery and not the best (tiramisu). All in all, an adequate meal, not exactly worth the price but a good experience.

Service was inattentive, had to flag our server down several times bc he just didn’t come to our table. The food wasn’t anything to write home about, but it wasn’t bad, just average at best. We had the spring menu, so it could be that this seasons rotating menu. The restaurant is beautiful, but I wouldn’t go back, there is much better Italian food in nyc.

Our Reservation was at 6:15 and we were not sat until 7:15. Waiter was unavailable and forgot to bring us our appetizer and drinks. We were so neglected that we had to ask another waiter to take over. Check came incorrect as well and had to wait even longer to get it corrected. Awful service overall, definitely under staffed.

You basically pay to sit at a restaurant that looks nice in pictures . The food was not good for the price. It’s not really a rooftop, I was on a roof but you can’t really see much of the city at all . You’re surrounded by buildings which is why the decor looks the way it does , to cover the unsightly buildings. Overall I wouldn’t recommend. Unless you have money to blow .

Amazing experience from start to finish. Came with my fiance for brunch and we both loved the food. Tiramisu pancakes some of the best in the city you have to try! Hostess also very welcoming.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try the brunch menu and were not disappointed. The tiramisu pancakes were amazing and they gave us complimentary chocolates since it was our anniversary. 10/10 for both food and service!

Food was just OK. They were very unaccommodating to any minor modification of the menu. Waitstaff did not seem to know what they were doing. Place was absolutely beautiful.

We were seated on time . Staff was friendly and courteous. Orders taken quickly and served as ordered. The food was amazing and I would come back . Whenever in the area I highly recommend this red. Loved walking through the store downstairs with all the flavors of Italy !

We were very excited to dine at Serra by Birreria, but were really disappointed by the quality of their food. While the ambiance and service were exceptional, the food at its best was subpar - overcooked and over salted. Halibut was super dry, the pasta overdone, the gnocchi could not be saved even by the generous amount of delicious parmesan. The only item that shined on the table was bread! Would not be coming back :(

The lady serving us was super friendly and welcoming. The food is very expensive for what you get. Atmosphere was wonderful. $19 for a glass of wine - seems to be the standard now in NY. On 14th floor above Eataly

The host and servers were very accommodating. We were pleased how they allowed us to be seated with friends assigned at a different table. The noise may have been a problem for our child with autism; but surprisingly, the ambiance alleviated her anxiety over the noise. The food was excellent. Perhaps, playing slow and calming jazz music would even out the noise of the patrons. Overall a delightful experience for our family of 6! Thank you!

The food was phenomenal & our server was a delight! Made great suggestions, and joked with us giving a fun feel for the evening. We arrived prior to sunset and admired the gorgeous room. As the sun set and the roof lights (among greenery) lit up, a new variety of magic surrounded us! We ordered dessert martini's - the espresso one was to die for, but the chocolate one was also delicious! All our food was excellent. 10/10 recommend. would go back in a heartbeat!

I have eaten here at each season for the last year and a half. Never has it been disappointing. The spring menu is my favorite. Our server Katherine was outstanding. She was kind attentive efficient and funny. We will be requesting her for our summer trip
