They were quick. Our waitress new we had a show to go to and got us out in time. Our food was amazing. Bathrooms were very nice.

My party and I had a wonderful time. This is a staff highlighted review. The reservation was made to hold space to mourn a dear friend who recently passed. Originally, there was “turbulence” around our dinner destination and I almost needed to cancel my reservation. I have to say, the gentleman at concierge on Tuesday 5/15 afternoon was truly the best. He was very kind and accommodating and flexible throughout our entire journey to Serena and even beyond check in. Half of our party couldn’t even make it out after everything and he was so kind and adjusted us without hassle. When we got to our table, we had Brie and her shadow and she was incredible at sensing our needs and making sure we were taken care of. She provided exceptional service at every step. She didn’t make us feel rushed and was super patient with us. It was a smooth experience. 10/10 I was so impressed with the staff. Special shout out to the tall male server cracking all the wild jokes at the table beside us. He was hilarious. Great personality hire. The manager should be proud of his staff.

I made a reservation at Serena Pastificio for May 12th, which I knew was Mother’s Day. However, my family and I were not interested in the alcohol-prime rib-dessert heavy Mother’s Day menu. Neither the restaurant nor Open Table mentioned to me that the regular menu was NOT available. When I showed up, they charged us $60 per person, plus 20% mandatory gratuity ($72 per person). I brought this to the front staff attention. They shrugged and effectively said that I should have perused their Web site. I will, of course, not go to Serena Pastificio any more. Also, will stop using Open Table.

Mother's Day brunch. I totally missed that it was a Buffet. Absolutely delicious. My two-year-old granddaughter was in heaven. I personally would have preferred ordering from the menu, but I certainly didn't leave hungry, plenty of options, Their ravioli and rigatoni were terrific, the restaurant is beautiful, the wait staff was wonderful to us. One total standout -- dessert. When I go back I will be ordering my own tiramisu. A truly great place for large parties.

Mother's Day Brunch was delightful. The dishes were replenished regularly and our server, Whitney was courteous and cheerful. The prime rib was excellent! All the restaurant staff was lovely on such a busy day. This was our first time at Serena - we often attend Alliance shows and would like to enjoy a pre-event meal here.

I’ve been to Serena Pastifico for dinner on 2 occasions and it was absolutely awesome. Brunch for Mother’s Day not so much. It wasn’t clear to me this was a buffet and unfortunately this was the beginning of the end. They couldn’t keep food or even plates on the buffet. And to say the food was subpar would be an overstatement. The pasta was dry, the Wellington dry and hard, the potatoes had a weird taste. And this is just what I can remember. The best thing I had was my Manhattan. I’ll be back but not for a buffet brunch.

Tried Serena for an early evening date night with my fiancé. By 6:30, the restaurant was a comfortable noise level and luckily we were seated in a very quiet and intimate corner. We started with the cheese board and mushroom toast. I thoroughly enjoyed the cheese, but the mushroom toast was a miss. Cocktails were great and not too sweet, which I am picky about. Our server was sweet and attentive. The crab ravioli was a terrible miss. The crab is in the sauce and was served cold, both were unexpected. I did enjoy the large portion of bolognese which is one of my favorite dishes. Would be back if the price wasn’t so high. Very Instagram able spot!

We were the only ones for brunch, and the coffee took 20 minutes to arrive. Someone’s biscuits and gravy came in cold. Food also took a while and was unimpressive for the price. Never coming again for brunch.

Excellent food and drinks. Easy dining prior to a show a Symphony Hall. They have a three course pre theatre menu too. Terrific patio too. Give it a try!!

I loved that the noise level was low enough that our table of 6 cold enjoy one conversation. A nice big, menu, with something for everyone, but heads up that the portions were LARGE. If I'd ordered an app, I'd never have been able to finish my entrée. The setting is clean and pretty and the service warm and gracious.

Good experience, would go again. Larger tables are for bigger parties but the 2 person table area is rather tight. Server brought out a piece of cake for my friends birthday. Super nice.

The food was ok, the menu needs more variety. The best part was the atmosphere, it was intimate but open. Our server was awesome, overall the experience was very nice. A bigger menu is the only thing holding back from giving 5 stars.

I think it is a great place to celebrate special occasions. The place and service were great. The Venus meets Aphrodite cocktail was delicious. The meatballs were the best I’ve ever had in my life. However, the pasta with sausage really disappointed me because I had to add salt, pepper, and cheese for it to taste better. My friend who ordered the same had to do the same. I would not order it again and I would definitely go back and try something different next time. Lastly, the tiramisu was great.

We were visiting Atlanta from California and this is a tale of two experiences. We went for dinner. Had a great meal and wonderful service. We liked it so much we went back for lunch the next day. Food was great but the service was pretty bad. Just like the night before we split and asked for extra plates. However, at lunch everything came out at once and no extra plate. When we asked the person that delivered the food for an extra plate, she said "ask your server". But the "server" was also a bartender and he was doing other things rather than tending tables. So I got up and asked for plates, pepper and spoons. So my net is go for dinner but you are on your own for lunch. I recommend it only for dinner

The food was OUTSTANDING! The polpette meatballs for our appetizer were flavorful and delicious - the perfect portion to share for 2 people. We each ordered a pasta (the gnocchetti sardi and the fondutelli al tartufo) and we each added chicken as a protein. We were pleasantly surprised at the value of the protein add-on; delicious chicken and SO reasonably priced! Dessert was amazing - the Cioccolato Fondente - decadent and perfect for sharing! Loved the AF cocktail - the Mulo Primavera - refreshing and tasty! Raven was our server and she had the perfect level of attentiveness; all of our needs were met, yet she didn't hover. All in all a wonderful experience and we will absolutely go back again if/when in the area; we were there for a show Symphony Hall and had plenty of time to spare.

My typical complaint with too many restaurants now is the seating and proximity to others. The lack of space between tables that this and so many other restaurants have trended towards is a total turn-off. Conversations become muddled with the voices right next to you or worse, the people next to you join in to your conversation, uggh. The lobster ravioli and the short rib were excellent. Although the ravioli might be a bit pricey for the portion size, I would order it again. Everything food and service-wise was done very well. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends with the caveat of my seating pet peeve.

Friendly and professional greeting, we were seated immediately in accordance with our reservation time. Server was extremely knowledgeable as this was our first time dining at the restaurant. Appetizer came out very timely as we put that and drinks in before ordering our main course. The food was very good and the tiramisu was light in texture and taste, which made it a great compliment to end our meal. The restaurant did get louder as more people arrived.
