Everything was superb apart from being told we only had 90 until the next booking which we found quite a rush to eat drink and chat. We wanted to have pudding and coffee but we had to leave as we could see the next customers waiting for our table. The food was wonderful and friendly, informative service.

Went for a quick dinner before the theatre and were very pleased with how prompt everything was. The food was amazing and reasonably priced (especially for Edinburgh), and the restaurant itself had a very intimate yet classy feel. Had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Our first visit but definitely not our last ,what a little gem of a place this is ,it was a group of friends celebrating birthday and wow it was amazing even down to the little cake 🎂 sen gave us x

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, fresh and the portions were good. The service was very good as well. All in all we had a memorable time.

Great wee restaurant lovely food and good service. Can be a bit noisy as it’s small and tables are close together. But great value and delicious food. Nice wine selection too.

We came here on recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious and the sea bass dish was outstanding!

While a repeat visit für me, it was a first visit for my brother - who described the meal as "fab"! The starters (fish cakes and crispy spring rolls) got things off to an excellent start (but beware the pieces of red chilli - small, but they pack a powerful punch!). The chicken was much enjoyed - ample portion size, while I returned to the sea-bass, which I'd sampled on a previous visit - the tamarind sauce lifted the dish to a very high level - and the egg-fried rice was particularly tasty. The sorbet (lemon and mango) and panna cotta rounded off the meal very nicely - light and refreshing. No encouragement needed to visit again - very soon!

Our 2nd visit and it was excellent. The same quality and cooking. The Prawn rolls were delicious (a cold starter). The deep fried fish was delicious. Overall a good experience. Can’t wait to go back to try other dishes.

Lovely delicately spiced Vietnamese food. We just had three "street food" starters - spring rolls, salt & pepper squid and tofu in tamarind sauce - as we were going to the theatre afterwards. All were delicious. The service was friendly and prompt.

Took my partner as a treat for her birthday. Found the staff very pleasant and welcoming. Enjoyed the food and would happily visit again.

So so lovely, the staff were amazing can’t fault them at all, they were 1000/10. The food was lovely and came out in good timing, the salt and pepper tofu is a must!

Loved dinner at SEN this week. Found it after searching for somewhere near the Festival Theatre. Friendly service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere. I want to go back for more! Definitely 5 star!

A tiny and cozy place. Service is good. But was a little disappointed with their food,especially the crispy spring rolls, which were in very thick skin and were obviously over fried.

The restaurant is small, about 20 covers, but lovely and well designed/decorated. The quality of the ingredients/food was excellent. The staff very efficient and friendly. My only issue is the one & a half table booking. This isn’t the place to spend a long, relaxing evening. You need to know the area to go for drinks afterwards - I’d recommend 56 North nearby who produce great cocktails. Will definitely go back to eat or get a delivery.

This was just a place I found doing a Google search of the area looking for somwhere to eat and what a find. The food was fantastic and it was a fantastic small restaurant! I would highly recommend it. Well worth a visit.

Very welcoming staff - friendly smile makes a very good impression. When asked, the staff offered clear explanation of the food - helpful. The food (my fifth visit, which says a lot) is all freshly prepared, piping hot and beautifully presented. A feast for the eyes to start with, and a feast for the tastebuds, confirmed by the first mouthful. The portion sizes are generous and all of us (three in the group) were keen to offer a sample taste to each other - making a mental note to choose that for our next visit - which is a given. Make sure you book (the restaurant accommodates less than thirty diners) - you won't be disappointed by the delicious tastes on offer. A first-rate culinary experience.

Really delicious, wonderful food, amazing flavours and lots of choice. Separate Gluten Free menu was great and beyond expectations. The only down side for us was that the door kept having to be open for delivery drivers which made it cold. Everything else was phenomenal

Staff was lovely and attentive, food was amazing, great consideration show to dietary requirements. Staff knew the menu well enough to make good recommendations and suggestions that were appropriate, and they were so pleasant.
