Sekoya Lounge & Kitchen is now open! We are thrilled to offer a modern American cuisine, while emphasizing flavor profiles of Northern California. We will have a farm to table concept, using local and organic produce, and sustainable seafood. Our kitchen houses a Hibachi Grill, and all of our breads and desserts are house made.

Sekoya, pronounced just like “Sequoia,” means just that. Our cuisine, beverage program, and design work together to pay homage to the dynamic location of Palo Alto, while also introducing something new and fresh to the community. The design of Sekoya is meant to evoke an organic, botanical experience inspired directly by the California-native Sequoia and Redwood tree also known as “Palo Alto”.

In addition to reserving unique experiences in our Lounge and at our Tree Table, we will also have two private dining rooms: The Pacific Room and The Sekoya Terrace.

Pacific Room: our cozy indoor space is perfectly set up for business meetings, with fixed A/V solutions. Sekoya Terrace: our enclosed terrace provides an “al fresco” dining atmosphere with both windows to allow for air flow, and fixed heaters during the cooler months. Our terrace is tucked away to provide ultimate privacy.

When booking a Lounge Experience, you are reserving our chic sofas and low-top coffee table exclusively for your party. The minimum number of guests required for this experience is 5 and the maximum is 7. Please see photo prior to booking as. Please note, all of our 'Experiences' feature our full dinner menu. If you would like to dine in our lounge with a group of less than 5, you are welcome to make a standard lounge reservation when they are available, or by simply walking in. These reservations in the lounge are communal. To accommodate all of our seatings, we respectfully ask for a two and a half hour dining experience. Thank you!
Tree Table Experience (6 to 8 guests)

Our custom Tree Table, made from a Guanacaste tree, is a wonderful setting for your next gathering. Perfect for groups of 6 to 8, this stunning table is set in our bar and lounge. Please note, all of our 'Experiences' feature our full dinner menu. To accommodate all of our seatings, we respectfully ask for a two and a half hour dining experience. Thank you!

The restaurant is good but the menu is limited, and not much is suitable for kids. It’s pretty elevated but I don’t think it justifies the prices, which are a little high. Wait staff and ambience also not as elevated as the prices.

Food was very tasty. My only concern was the place is very noisy—they turned down the music for us but as it got busier, the noise was too much for our table of 65 and over folks. It’s a young clientelle.

Just added to my top 10 favorite Bay Area restaurants. The restaurant is gorgeous and the vibe makes you want to linger and relax. I highly recommend and will be going back very soon.

I made a reservation and was accommodated at the bar. The host seemed a bit snooty. The food was subpar. We ordered the chicken and the smash burger. The burger does not come with anything. The chicken is also seemingly missing something. It only had the chicken and a few odd vegetables. We actually wrapped up our food and had dinner elsewhere. I think this restaurant is trying too hard to be upscale and not there.

Great new reataurant on California Ave in Palo Alto. Food was incredible, and the cocktails were also great as well. Overall great experience.
