Seaworthy est un bar à huîtres dirigé par le trio derrière le reconnu Grand Banks: frères, marins et indigènes de la La Nouvelle-Orléans, Alex et Miles Pincus et l'impresario des événements de soirées, Adrien Gallo. Ils ont également amené le célèbre Chef Kerry Hefferman et le Directeur de bar de longue date, Lauren Schell, faisant également partie de l'équipe des Grand Banks. Le menu présente des huîtres sauvages récoltées de façon durable dans les eaux américaines, ainsi que des poissons d'origine locale et du gibier. Le menu des boissons vous propose des cocktails classiques, avec une sélection de bières et de vins. Seaworthy s'est inspiré des voyages à la voile des frères Pincus le long des côtes du Golfe, des traditions usées par le temps et de la ville légendaire de La Nouvelle-Orléans.

Absolutely the best place I dined at while in New Orleans. Stunning restaurant with service and food to match. Don’t miss the oysters, shrimp cocktail, or the Seaworthy (crawfish) roll all of which were amazing! Don’t forget to buy the kitchen a round!

tried the tuna tartare, the shrimp cocktail, East Coast, oysters, and guld oysters. Everything was delicious, the ambiance was lovely and the service was great.

Was seated on the back patio. Very cute vibe but was empty. The service however was good. As far as food: Got charbroiled oysters as an appetizer, which were very tasty. Had shrimp and grits as the entree and it was very bland and the grits were more rice than grits. The entree left a lot to be desired.

Nice selection of Oysters. We also enjoyed the frog legs, Cobia, and shrimp and grits. Fished it all off with a great bread pudding.

If you love seafood you will love this place. They simply bring the best ingredients and get out of the way. Excellent cocktail and whiskey selections.

The various up charges on the bill, including a “kitchen support” charge were aggravating as it was a challenge just getting water, meanwhile “support staff” were just standing around. Plus it smelled like spoiled seafood. Very fishy, like the seafood department at Winn Dixie. I have been here many times, but will not return.

They claim the kitchen is open till 1am, but it is so limited after 945 that it is really only a couple unexciting options, including their burger, that is very small (about the size of a McDonald’s burger)

I am obsessed with Seaworthy - if you are deciding where to eat, just go. It’s amazing. Must try the Holy Water cocktail and try to sit at the oyster bar - the staff goes above and make an incredible experience. Kiki and the oyster/ bar staff were the best. Thank you all!

Came in on a Sunday and the restaurant itself smelled really fishy, which threw me off. I think the biggest frustration is I heard we had to have a reservation to get a table, so I reserved in advance but would have been charged $50 to cancel. The place was mostly empty!

We were excited to try this restaurant based on other reviews. We got several dishes and they were all incredibly salty to the point of inedible. The ketchup that came with the fries also tasted like bacon which was pretty awful, again, not edible. A disappointing dinner.

Great raw oysters, & the ceviche was wonderful. Server was right on point. He brought my drink quickly & gave me a little time to enjoy it before bringing the oysters. Gave me time to get through those without feeling rushed before bringing the ceviche, & likewise for the entree. Just very good timing, something I feel is important. They’re open late which is great for a place like NOLA. Some may consider it a little on the pricey side but good food is worth it.

Just a weird and wonderful experience and is just what I feel this wonderful eatery intends the customer to have. We sat at the bar, the food was amazing, and the staff friendly, quirky, knowledgable and funny. Highly reccomended!

The menu had great choices, the food was terrific, the ambiance was comfortable, and the service was outstanding! Our bill had an extra line-item charge of $5 and change and believe it was listed as kitchen help. I didn't mention it at the time because we had a wonderful evening. I suggest they simply raise their prices to cover their costs. What's next? A line-item surcharge to cover utilities, or marketing costs, or laundry service?

I came to Seaworthy a few months ago for the late night menu and was very impressed with the selection and freshness of the oysters. That experience was delightful and inspired me to return for the full dinner for my next celebratory occasion. That experience, unfortunately, was marred by disappointing food and dismissive service. The food from the dinner menu was underwhelming, and we felt mostly ignored and rushed by the service. After that tough experience though, we were invited back and had a much more pleasant experience. We went during happy hour and stuck to the oysters and cocktails, both of which again were excellent. I have nothing but praise for that part of the menu here. The selection is diverse, and the oysters are some of the freshest I've had in New Orleans. I still can't speak too much to the rest of the menu. As highlighted above though, they have such a strong bar and oyster program.

Always an exciting place to be on a weekend, Seaworthy did not disappoint. We started with super fresh raw Nantucket oysters. Second course was the sturgeon caviar with a creative small beignets and several toppings. Service was impeccable and the bar area was busy. Highly recommended to anyone staying in the CBD.

This was my first visit. And the place seemed a little sketchy at first. Wasn’t sure if I should take it serious as an establishment with good food. We were seated upstairs and was very difficult for me to climb them. The table was sufficient for cocktails, but tight for dinner service. The ambiance is a touch dreary and minimal. We had the fish and chips. The fish was good and the chips were nothing special. The condiments were very good. We will likely return to try other dishes. The entrance and the 2nd floor mantle is very interesting. Check it out.

Though the party next to us was boisterously loud, we enjoyed a great meal. We tried charbroiled oysters for the first time, had lobster and shrimp cocktails, plus bread pudding. Delicious!

so great for friends, catching up on stories difficult bc was noisy, but food amazing, drinks great, and wonderful service
