Seaworthy es un bar de ostras propiedad de los hermanos Alex y Miles Pincus, marineros y oriundos de Nueva Orleáns, así como del empresario teatral Adrien Gallo, quienes tienen a su cargo además el galardonado Grand Banks de Nueva York. Colaboran con ellos el aclamado chef Kerry Hefferman y Lauren Schell, directora del bar desde hace mucho tiempo, ambos del equipo del Grand Banks. El menú presenta ostras silvestres así como otras cultivadas de manera sostenible en aguas estadounidenses, tanto de la costa del Golfo, la costa este y oeste, así como pescado y carne de caza de la región. La acertada carta de bebidas ofrece cocteles clásicos y exclusivos con una bien planeada selección de cervezas y vinos. Really loved the ambiance and staff. The oysters were good but the mains were disappointing and lacked flavor. My friend had the shrimp and grits and I had the scallops. We both felt they were overpriced for the value of what we got. The portions were ok but they were both under seasoned and leaving the heads on the shrimp made everything more messy with the grits. The banana bread pudding made up for the dinner and was really delicious. We also ordered house rose and then each a cocktail which were so boozy we couldn’t finish. I really wanted to like this place but we both left wishing we had gone somewhere else.

This is such a special experience! The seafood, drinks, and dessert were outstanding. Everything was very fresh with just a little unique flair to make it extra special. The server was excellent, attentive, and answered any questions about the food and drink with great accuracy and in a very helpful way. The bartender also took time to recognize each guest and make us feel welcomed. The atmosphere is inviting and not loud. A particular highlight for a busy place like New Orleans. I highly recommend dining here.

Seaworthy is a really cool New Orleans restaurant. The night we were there, it wasn’t super busy, so you get great service. The oyster selection was awesome, However, the big hit was the pork belly and Brussels sprouts. We also had the Seaworthy roll, their version of a Lobster or Crawfish roll. It was good, smaller than I imagined. The bread was hot and the lobster or crawfish was served cool with mayo, like a salad. The fries were great. The shishito peppers were really good also. They had a wasabi mayo on them.

Fabulous oyster selection and amazing bread pudding with fried banana and rum sauce. Really yummy cocktails too!

Very average food is nothing special I had higher expectations since a lot of people kept recommending this place, however, half of the oysters from the menu they didn’t have available the rest of the stuff was just ok. I personally wouldn’t go back.
