Seasons serves Californian cuisine with Middle Eastern influences curated by Executive Chef Yekaterina Balagian. High quality, local foods are prepared simply and the menu reflects the seasons. Came here to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We were blown away by everything! The Lamb Muhammara, whole Woodfieed Branzino, and Goat Tagine are must haves! The vanilla gelato topped with olive oil and flaky salt in the Nick and Nora glass was a great way to end our meal.

The service was outstanding. The first course appetizer with hummus and lamp receives five plus stars. But the goat and burrata were both overly salty. My friend and I both love goat, but neither of us could get past the first bite. So we paid, tipped and left. My advice to the chief, slow down on the salt as your food is great enough without it.

Sadly, we’re giving up on Seasons after many years of good dining there. The menu has become restricted to regional arcane, exotic foods, with zero attention paid to American tastes and preferences. Last time, the on-line menu listed cheeseburgers but when I asked server about the listing she practically shrieked at me saying they didn’t even have the ingredients for such an item. At the very least, it would be more honest if your on-line menu jibed with your real menu which stretches from tofu to high-priced fish shipped in from who knows where.

As always, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was very flavorful. I was looking forward to the Nicoise salad with the tofu steak, which I had had last time, but alas, it was no longer on the menu. But I ordered the Fattoush and added the tofu steak and it was delicious. While the wine menu for glasses only is a bit limited, we did enjoy the wine we ordered. Thank you!

A rare genuine culinary experience in Davis! Delicious, creative and authentic. True its name, the menu is based on local seasonal ingredients. I am resolutely impressed with how chef Yekaterina Balagian integrates unique ingredients such as the insanely time consuming Japanese house-made hoshigaki without compromising the authenticity of her Armenian based cuisine. Always a surprise and never a disappointment. I highly recommend this California injected venture into Middle Eastern cuisine.

Finally, Seasons, with the food of its new chef has the best restaurant in Davis! Amazing, heading for a Michelin Star! I cannot review one or a few dishes as they are all over the top delicious. Goat was just added to the menu: the most eaten meat in the world and much better health wise than beef! Keep it up Katerina!

Great host. Fab server, John. Nice food runners. Food was DELICIOUS. Hummus with pistachios and fresh mushrooms. The beet salad was divine. Short ribs out of this world. Vegan chocolate wonderfully decadent.

We hadn’t eaten at Seasons since before the pandemic. The remodel is lovely, but the food was inedible. If I had to describe it I would say it was some sort of Eastern European-Middle Eastern fusion. Not an appetizing mix. One dish, called chicken stew, combined couscous, pomegranate and walnuts with a lot of cabbage, carrots, celery, and shredded chicken and was so sour. On top of the uncomplimentary flavors and ingredients, the menu items we ordered were served to us with mystery ingredients in them that were not noted in the menu descriptions. The whole experience was strange. We do not recommend eating here, sadly.

The food is superb. The modern Lebanese cuisine the chef there makes is a wonderful addition to our city. We have been there twice now and have enjoyed everything we have ordered. The whole Branzino is a must-try, and the goat tagine was delicious.

Food was weird. Everything tasted vinegar like. 3 people dinner was $210. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food that came cold and way too much acid. Will not return.

Good food for the price. Servers were amazing and helpful but the wait time in between appetizers and mains were painfully long. But they did give us a complementary dish which was super nice of them

Food was great! We went for Valentine’s Day, and did not know there was a prix fixe menu. The restaurant did not advertise. That would be the case when we made the reservation. We were lucky that the menu worked out for us. The food was very tasty, but the service was horrible because the kitchen could not keep up with the orders. Our reservation was at 5:30 and it took more than 2 1/2 hours to complete the meal. The line was out the door when we left with people who were waiting for their tables based on reservations. Because they kitchen could not serve a full restaurant fast enough, people were waiting a long time. Even though the kitchen was slow, the rest of the service was also Poor. Everybody tried hard, but just couldn’t make it work. Bottom line is the food is great, but it doesn’t function well as a business.

I love this restaurant now with this chef. I am never disappointed. I did the vegetarian menu for Valentine's Day prix fixe and I added the lobster tail to it and my husband did the meat menu. Everything was just delicious.

Glad to see this incarnation of the restaurant is a winner. The menu is innovative, lots of Middle Eastern, flavors, and plenty of choices for the vegetarians and vegans in your group. Our server Lily was outstanding. From the moment, Ben greet you at the door till you realize you have no room for dessert. This is an excellent dining experience.

A wonderful variety of menu items. Our table of 6 had two pizzas, the Persian chicken stew, the seafood risotto, and the most beautiful presentation of lamb couscous. We started with an antipasto plate and ended with several desserts. Several wines were enjoyed by all as well. Service was excellent for the most part. We adore the gentleman who seems to be in charge of the serving staff. Our waitress was good but probably a more recent hire. We just love Seasons!

A fun and pleasant dinner. Interesting and innovative food was excellent — wonderful combinations of flavors and textures. Very noisy in the dining room, so we asked to sit outside. Much better. Service was exceptional.

Very noisy. Extremely NOISY!! The wait for our dinner was over an hour. Granted the restaurant was very busy and crowded but we noticed that other tables received their food before us even though we ordered before them. It could be that it was an off night. The food was good. But the portions for the high prices seemed reasonably high

The food was very good if a little bit costlier than other local restaurants. The service was excellent and the setting very nice with plenty of space between tables. It was a good choice for a fairly large group of 6.
