Beat service we have ever received from a restaurant. Will definitely go back to be served by Alex who was the most professional server we have ever had. Food was amazing. Accommodated all Our requests.

Lunch was delicious! It was a fixed menu on Mother’s Day and they brought their best! They were busy and although we were there for a long time, the staff kept an eye on us and there was the right combination of food and talk. Shrimp Scuzzi and the Chicken Piccata were perfect!

Great service and great food all around. Caprese salad is not worth it, but with loved the Scuzzi Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. Desserts were on the very small size, if that matters to you. Great wait staff, truly professional. Solid Italian meal.

Oysters and oysters mazi were excellent. Chicken Florentine and clam chowder was especially flavorful. Mussel in marinara were much better than in white wine sauce which was the only thing I didn’t like. But the server quickly offered me the other choice which I enjoyed. Finally, the lobster ravioli, seafood linguine, and tenderloin were on point. Even the bread was warm and fresh, each time we wanted more. It was expensive, but for four I thought reasonable especially as good as the food, service, and atmosphere was. We’ll be back.

Dining at Scuzzi's is always a treat. The food is all made in their kitchen and is excellent. Our server, Alexia, is one of the very best in San Antonio. When my wife and I want to dining at a wonderful location, Scuzzi's is it!

My experience at Scuzzi's Italian Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional! I made a last-minute reservation for 20 guests on a Saturday afternoon, and despite the short notice—just 30 minutes before our arrival—the staff was incredibly accommodating. Their proactive approach to communication was impressive; they both texted and called to confirm our reservation details, ensuring everything was set for our arrival. From the moment my friends stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The restaurant handled our large group seamlessly, making everyone feel special, especially the birthday guest of honor. What truly set Scuzzi's apart was the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was memorable. They were attentive without being intrusive, managed our large group efficiently, and kept the meals and drinks flowing smoothly. Thanks to Scuzzi's Italian Restaurant, my friend's birthday was an extraordinary experience. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. I highly recommend Scuzzi's to anyone looking for excellent food and service that makes you feel like family. We're already planning our next visit!

The appetizers were great, especially the fried asparagus. The clam soup and minestrone were both well-received. Several in our party got the Chef's Special, which included grilled sea bass on pasta with a crab-filled sauce. They all loved it. Smoked chicken lasagna was delicious. Our waiter was also the bartender and he served the table well.

First time here Excellent service and my flat bread pizza was delicious, my daughter had the grilled chicken Caesar, which she enjoyed, and my husband had the bolognese , which he enjoyed. Bread is warm and very good. I am sure we will be back. Thanks!

This was a dinner with out of town friends as well as a belated birthday celebration. As always the service, food, and ambiance was superb. We were in town for our 20th Anniversary and noticed the reviews were great for Scuzzi’s, so we made a reservation. They had a little personalized Happy Anniversary sign setup on the table, and our server, Mona, gave us some time to look over the menu. We had the Fried Ravioli appetizer, a small salad, the Italian soup, and warm house bread before our meal. Everything was delicious! We visited with our little one, and they brought out her Kid’s cheese pizza so she could eat. She ate over half of it and gave it a thumbs up, my wife had the Fettuccini Alfredo, and I had the Lasagna. Every bite was incredible! For dessert they brought us a little cannoli with Congrats written in cocoa, along with a sparkler - which was probably our kiddo’s favorite thing ever! We really had no room for dessert, but we also had to try the Limoncello Sponge Cake and it did not disappoint! Thanks to Scuzzi’s for a memorable meal to celebrate our anniversary, and we hope to be back when we visit San Antonio again.

This was my first visit. I had the chicken parmesan as a main course and the tiramisu for desert. Both were tasty but the dessert could use a little more flavor. With that said, I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. The prices were moderate for Italian so I was not shocked with them. Most Italian places will have dishes under $30 and starting around $19. The service was exceptional! Our waitress was on point. She was so courteous as was everyone who came to the table to check on us.

Had a reservation at 9:00 pm. They were behind. I was told that the manager overbooked the day. So I waited 45 mins to be sat. Then as you sit there and watch the advertisement that shows repeatedly, some of the items are no longer on the menu. So my date wasn't able to order the dessert that she wanted.

Said they took reservations, just wrote down peoples names as they walked in. Ended up waiting 50 mins past my reservation. Honesty would’ve been cool, but being played for business isn’t awesome :.(

Valentine’s Day crowd so I get that it’s busy but that’s the whole reason you book through OPENDOOR, am I right? 8:45pm reservations and we’re not seated till 9:30pm. Bar service was disorganized and people were getting charged wrong. Once we sat, the server was great and food was decent but honestly if we knew we weren’t gonna eat till almost 10 we would have made other plans.

Waited almost 1 hour for reservation on Valentine’s Day and was told manager overbooked. Then restaurant wanted to charge cancellation fee even though they overbooked so feel like we had to stay. Was given prefix menu and were not told we could also order from regular menu

Waited 30minutes passed my reservation to be seated. Granted it was valentines day.

Got reservation for Valentines Day and they were swamped. Hostesses were calm even though people were upset that heir reservations were going to be late. We waited an hour after our requested time but I’m sure others had to wait longer. Not Scuzzi’s fault people take their time eating. Waiter let us order off the menu as opposed to the special Valentine’s Day menu.

We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation was scheduled for and couldn’t find a parking spot, I had my wife walk in and get us checked in, while I continued to look for parking. I finally found a spot available, parked and secured our vehicle. Walked in and Wife informed me that we still had a wait time because no tables were available at the high table we requested, so my Wife told them we would be open to any setting available to get our dinner plans started and to enjoy ourselves. We are very understanding and very patient, so we understood the situation being a special occasion for everyone (Valentines Day). Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the dinner, and night that was provided for us. Thank Y’all Very Much and We Our Looking Forward To Our Next Experiences In The Future.

Our waiter was busy, no formal greeting, just a "Are you ready to order" after sitting there for at least 10 minutes. They served my husband's trout he ordered skin up, which we have never had here before like that. The noodles tasted like butter and nothing else. The food felt rushed to cook, and the presentation was basic. For 19.00 appetizers, you should put a little more effort.I understand it being Valentines, but the place felt overbooked and just a mad house as soon as you walked in.If your going to charge 25 bucks to hold a reservation your booking should be a little tighter. We probably won't return.

Horrible service. Way too crowded and noisy. Everything took forever. They should lower the number of tables. Doesn’t seem like they can handle the volume they are taking in.

We went here for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We had a 6:45 reservation and were seated around seven, which was fine. It was really busy. We had the Shrimp Scuzzi to start and it was delicious. I asked our server to recommend a red blend and she suggested Silk and Spice. It was very good. I had the sausage cacciatore and my wife had the eggplant. Both were outstanding. Will be back

Valentine is always a busy night at a restaurant. Scuzzi's is no exception. We arrived 20 minutes early and found plenty of people waiting but we're seated right away. The restaurant was full and management had a lot of staff on hand to handle the night. There were no hiccups for us service was excellent and the kitchen prompt. Excellent choice for such a busy night
