Enjoy a night of fine wine and elevated comfort food at a locally owned casual fine dining restaurant located in the Shops of Prairie Village. From humble beginnings as a small catering company we have transformed into a one-of-a-kind small boutique restaurant that provides a private and intimate dining experience focused on the food at the table and personal interactions with our team. Come experience the culinary expertise of Chef Grant Ramirez alongside more than 165 wine bottles selections curated by our owner Tyler Morrison.

Scratch is a small gem of a restaurant that provides a surprise and delight as we continue to grow. Since our opening in 2021, Scratch has awarded Best New Restaurant in Johnson County in 2022 by The Shawnee Mission Post, 2023 Best Caterer in Johnson County, Finalist for Best New Restaurant in Kansas City by KC Magazine.

Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived! Excellent food, great service, fantastic keyboard player. We have been to restaurants around the world. I wouldn’t miss this one in KC. We both had the 2 different steaks on the menu, highly recommend!

Fantastic Steak Au Pave, Bruschetta, Boursin Chicken as well as wine list. Service was attentive yet not rushed. Excellent meal.

My friends and I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The staff is super attentive. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food is outstanding. You absolutely must get the brownie sundae. It’s a delight and something you video!!!

They were open on Sunday for Mother’s Day. We had good service and we enjoyed the quiche.

Loved the intimate atmosphere in the dining area and the attentive staff! The meal was delicious and the wine menu was incredible. I'll def go back.
