The food here is absolutely top notch - they probably have my most favorite steak frite in town. But after multiple visits, the service is just disasterous. On this last visit, the following occurred: -seated at a dirty table with no menus, napkins, or silverware -with every pass at our table, the waiter ignored at least one member of our party, and it was a different person each time -we ordered two starters that were consumed for over a half hour before our dinner order was even taken. Then it took a good 30 minutes for our food to arrive -our waiter repeatedly spilled and dropped things on our table. A second person, a runner, literally threw desserts on our table. One last thing: despite the food being great, it suffers from jacked up prices and shrinking portions. This same steak frites that I love used to get you a nice hanger steak and a mountain of fries. Now the portion are about half of what they were, and I think the price has gone up. I went on two different visits about 3 weeks apart, and the same order of starters came with different numbers of items. Well over 200 dollars this last meal for 3, with only one alcoholic drink.

I loved this spot! It was a great dinner for me and my mother and daughter for Mother’s Day shout out to the staff who did an excellent job!

Amazing food as always! Mother’s Day brunch came out perfect and the service was on-point. My wife and I frequent Scout and will continue to do so, never been let down by the food or bar experience.

Have dined here before and always been pleased. My first brunch here and it was excellent. When visiting Atlanta I will be delighted to dine here again

Scout has countless options for any dining party! We had excellent service and drinks : even a great NA IPA! Our starters were unique and our entrees were epic. We will definitely be coming back again.

Always excellent food. Bring back the cast iron trout skillet. Dessert is a must. The flourless chocolate cake and the cherry ricotta cheesecake were delicious. The pretzels are a yummy.

Best salmon burger I’ve had! Brussels sprouts were also terrific. Outdoor patio is very relaxing and our server was very friendly and attentive.

Delicious! Everything was tasty. Our only disappointments were slow water refills, and that we had to ask for a box more than once. It started out quiet as we were there early in the evening but was getting noisy as we were finishing.

Celebrated my 35th Birthday here with friends. Our group consisted of 10. Service was excellent! Food was delicious and the drinks were spot on! Every time I go to Scout I enjoy my experience. Thank you for a great birthday dinner with friends!

I dined here for dinner with my husband,who had the hangar steak again. He thought it was delicious! I tried the crab cake with chow chow. It was tasty, but to me not enough for a meal. And I am not a big eater! And expensive for what was given. Would not recommend or get it again. Would make a good appetizer.

This was our first visit to Scout - it will not be our last. We were there for Sunday brunch with out of town family guests. The food was delicious and the setting is bright and fresh but very warm and charming at the same time. Absolutely lovely experience. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.

From the time I opened the door everyone was inviting. They seated us and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu which made it more and more difficult to choose our meal because we wanted everything. We weren't rushed as this was a ladies night out. I definitely will be back.

Quick girl’s Saturday brunch. We’ve never been here and wanted someplace to central to all of us. Booked at opening, 11:00. Staff was friendly. Place was spacious and bright. Seated right away and was left to converse while our 3rd person arrived. Service speed was moderate but great for us to chat in between. We had to ask for a few things a few times but overall would absolutely return. Small neighborhood, upper casual, but not Atlanta sparkle atmosphere (which is what we wanted). Seems like it would be beautiful in Spring summer. A bit pricey but doable. Overall, cute, casual, comfy, accessible, airy, medium liveliness. Great Saturday brunch for solos, friends, or party of 8 selection.

We eat here a lot. On this particular trip, the server (Sonya) was oddly aggressive from the moment we sat down, trying to start arguments with us and scolding us over our drink order. At first we thought it must be a joke, but it became clear it wasn’t. Not sure what that was about. Food was a little off as well. Restaurants have off nights sometimes, I suppose.

Been there several times. Food was not up to previous standard. Fish was slightly under. Dick was tough. Seasoning was off. Server did not seem interested in her or us being there. Might be a while before we go back. I hope they get it together. Was a really nice spot.

Scout is much better than a neighborhood restaurant. However, it feels like a neighborhood restaurant because everyone that works there remembers your name and are always welcoming. Our favorite place to dine.

It wasn’t crowded but almost every staff person including our waiter seemed burdened by us being there. And we were well behaved. The menu in person did not reflect choices noted on the menu posted on their website. Cauliflower mash at the bottom of salmon was lukewarm at best.
