Lamb lollipops are a great summer addition to the dinner menu - well prepared and served with orzo and asparagus. The Scout Sangria and another summertime treat, the oatmeal cookie helado sandwich, made for a perfect Father's Day evening meal on their wonderful deck amongst the trees of Oakhurst!

The pretzels, deviled eggs are recommended apps. The burger and falafel sandwiches are good as well. I do not recommend the braised short ribs. They reminded me of a pot roast which is fine if you are ordering pot roast. The brownie and flourless chocolate cake are both very good. I do not recommend the bread pudding. It is dense and was not too flavorful.

Scout was the perfect place to visit with Dad this past Sunday. With the option of the beautiful outside patio overlooking Oakhurst, we decided to sit inside due to the heat and it was perfect. Between the quaint ambiance, the decor, cleanliness of the restaurant and the delicious food, we really enjoyed our visit to Scout. And located in the best neighborhood!!

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED! The food was not good at all. The brussels sprouts were cooked to death, the asparagus was yellow and shriveled, the strawberries in the salad also shriveled and discolored. My husband's chicken was severely overcooked and extremely dry. I asked our server if the grouper could be prepared without the red pepper, as I am allergic, and she asked the chef, who said yes, but it still came covered in dried red pepper flakes all over, and the grouper was obviously burnt to a literal crisp. My husband tasted it and said even the coconut ginger sauce had literally no flavor, except pepper. When our server saw the situation, she was upset and told the manager, who came to the table and very defensively explained that this was how the fish dish was prepared and acted as though we were the problem, although we never complained, merely told the server I could not eat it. Our server pressed him to remove it from our bill, and he said he would make a price adjustment but when we received the bill, he had given a five dollar credit (the fish dish was 33 dollars). We paid the bill, left our nice server a good tip, and vowed to never return. We eat out almost every night, at many of Atlanta's best restaurant's, and this one does not qualify. It was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. After looking more closely at the other reviews, it seems that their quality has diminished greatly since they originally opened, and that their fairly high rating is no longer deserved. We strongly suggest avoiding this establishment!

We met up at Scout for a girls’ catch up. The ambiance and noise level were perfect for chatting, service was great and food was delicious. The only critique I would give is to get some flavored syrups to add to the mimosas.

The food was great. Everyone (in our party of 7) enjoyed their meal. Our server, Miah, was kind, helpful and attentive.

A friend of mine and I are big foodies like a small team of food critics. We genuinely aren’t even all that hard to please but definitely appreciate a Devine meal. We had high hopes for scout. Spent $100 trying different courses hoping they would get better. Unfortunately for us the best food was the first course. We started with the most basic deviled eggs topped w bacon and jelly. (Four for $10) Then we ordered the meat board, charcuterie boards are more areas. We are very excited to try this, this combination of meat and cheese and pickles genuinely had me gagging. I’m not sure if it was the mold or the olives. Then lastly we each ordered a Caesar salad (safe option) very dry and she got the dry Caesar salad wrap with even more dry chicken. Our server look surprise whenever she would come back to the table and we had in touch the food, but she never once offered to replace it or even asked us if we enjoyed our meal. So we paid $100 and left no Severn. It was filled with giggles about how we spend so much money to not even enjoy a single thing we ate. Better luck to us next time.

Love this place. Great with our toddler, great as a date night, awesome for groups. Just a perfect neighborhood restaurant with incredible food, amazing staff, delicious drinks, and an awesome vibe.
