La bière écossaise Belhaven, servie sur place, est fabriquée à Dunbar, en Écosse, depuis 1719. Le Highlander Pub & Grill est ouvert tous les jours pour le dîner et le souper, à partir de 11h00.

We always have a nice meal and very good service when eating here. We especially like sitting outside if possible.

We sat outside on a beautiful night. The view was great and the service didn't suffer. The drinks were very good and the entrees fantastic: short ribs & scallops. The seasonal salad was excellent and was plated beautifully.

Fun place with good food and great service. The salad was amazing as was the ahi bowl.

Not a fan of the new menu. Two tier pricing very bizarre. Paying for a food membership in this economy is not smart business. Was my favorite restaurant but will not be returning.

Why wouldn't customers not want to take advantage of: Member pricing on most entrées, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts. Save up to 20%. Member pour on wine by the glass (8oz vs 6oz). Draft beer pour (22oz vs 16oz). $1 OFF bottle or canned beer. $2 OFF spirit or mixed drink. 10% OFF bottle wine. $5 Birth of the Birdie pints (beer brewed by Bonesaw for Ottinger Golf Group). Reserve the best tables in the house. Invitation to Member only social events: Wine tastings, couples’ dinners, beer samplings, and more! Bummer you won't be returning and missing out on all of the cool things we have planned this summer : (

The Highlander was overwhelmed by their crowd, last night. It was a lovely evening, so I wasn’t surprised it was busy, but they couldn’t handle it. We had a reservation and arrived on the dot, but they weren’t able to seat us for 15-20 min. Not the end of the world, but, ehh. The server was friendly and competent, but the kitchen was overwhelmed. It took a good long time to get our apps (20 min?) and over an hour after we were seated before the entrees came. (And the runner initially came with one correct dish and one incorrect dish, the correct 2nd order arriving a minute later). They had live music (2 piece plus recordings, I think). They were ok, at best, but way too loud for my taste, and we were outside, in the open (not under the roof) and one of the further tables from the band. I don’t know how anyone closer, or under the roof (where the band was) could hold a conversation. The food was about as good as usual, which is pretty good, IMHO, but the menu has been overhauled since our last visit. Our favorite app., the buffalo cauliflower “wings” was gone (the replacement, fried Brussels sprouts, was pretty good, but not an acceptable replacement as far as my wife is concerned). I didn’t order the beef short ribs last night, one of my go-tos, there, but according to the menu, it has been reworked if I recall correctly. Not sure I’ll like the new risotto side as much as the old mashed potatoes. Not our best visit to the Highlander. We may just have to stay away on “prime” nights in the future. (But then, again, we have had poor service in the past on a holiday Monday when, I guess, all of the experienced staff was getting a break after a busy weekend.)

The new menu at Scotland Run is fantastic. We ate on the patio after the ladies' golf clinic. Hannah was our server and, as usual, the service was impeccable. I ordered the Beet Salad, a new addition to the menu. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The Chicken Vodka Sandwich and the Char-Grilled Salmon were other dishes enjoyed by people in our party. Jason, the manager, visited our table to check on everything and let us know about upcoming specials. It was a great night!
