Our experience was great in terms of service and atmosphere! Our serve Kiana was amazing and i loved the energy and level of service she provided us (on top of having a private event, werk!). The only complaint i would have is the food. We got the veggie mac and each soup and it was extremely bland, which broke my heart since the ingredients sounded so good! Either way, great to come for cocktails, don’t think the food is worth the price at all.

My husband and I had a 5:45 reservation with theater tickets for 7:30. We were seated immediately and served our drinks and ordered appetizers. The chef stopped by and we asked what he would recommend for dinner. He commented that the Salisbury steak and the bison short ribs were popular. We ordered one of each and understood why they were favorites, absolutely delicious. The ribs fell off the bone and the Salisbury steak was seasoned and done to perfection. We definitely will be back. On a side note, we finished dinner at 7:00 and had a nice walk back to DeVos for “Wicked.” 😊 Thank you Scholar for an enjoyable evening!

Great selection of cocktails. Bison meatballs were a good choice as an appetizer. The lamb T bones were phenomenal. Service was prompt and friendly.

excellent & innovative food and cocktails, attentive service, and the ambiance & décor is great only cons would be the seating in the "study" wasn't conducive for dinner - would be better for cocktails/apps only. Prices were also a little on the high side for an experience that was not quite fine dining

The food was superb from the caramelized onion dip appetizer to the filet mignon and cedar plank salmon to the desserts! Our server was excellent, pointed out all of the specials and her favorites. The decor was so fun and such a cool concept. Loved our first visit and will definitely be back. Only downside was that the bar did not have the ability to make a Bloody Mary and they do not have iced tea. My dining companions however loved the craft beer and non-alcoholic Pina Colada.

Overall good. forgot to give me a steak knife for my $56 steak (gave a butter knife) and provided no cream, sugar or stir spoon for coffee service. Service should be more attentive for the menu price.

Nice ambience, great service, but food is way overpriced for the quality. Everything was OK, but not fabulous.
