This is the restaurant you wish you had on every corner... amazing food with a wink to the best of Austria, so fresh and inventive. The wine list is inspired and the only problem is you will want to have everything on the menu.

Great schnitzel, although the veal schnitzel in particular is quite pricey, but it’s a large portion! Fun place with a nice atmosphere. A rare find in lower Manhattan.

The Austrian / German food is truly outstanding; service is super friendly, and the venue is rustic and charming with lots of old implements on the walls and a large inviting communal table in the middle if you don’t want to sit at one of the cozy side tables. Good selection of hard to find Austrian wines. It’s on a side street and you’ll need a map app to find it but totally worth it

First time at this restaurant. Great bistro setting. Polite and attentive service. What stood out was the amazing food . We had 2 appetizers between us - the trout and the whipped cheese were both excellent . I had the veal Wiener schnitzel - it was the best I’ve had since I was in Vienna. My wife’s burger was very good - and came with amazing fries. I would highly recommend this Austrian inspired restaurant!

Construction next door means its front door hides under an awning. Stay with it. Good seasonal menu. Pleasant room. No fuss quality.
