Don’t bother dining at Scelto. It took 30 minutes for someone to greet us at the table. Server was busy struggling to open wine bottles at another table. Food was sub par, we could have gotten a better meal and better service at Olive Garden. The hostess knew we had awful service and expressed her concerns as we were leaving.

The atmosphere was so inviting!! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was top tier. Beautiful place with beautiful people. Can’t wait to go back again! ❤️

Reserved Mother’s Day dinner several weeks in advance without problem. We were seated promptly after our party had all arrived only to wait 20 minutes for water which I had to go to the hostess and request. Quickly two wait staff came by and apologized for the wait which was appreciated, clearly there must have been confusion. Appetizers were very good - we had arrancini and calamari, both delicious. Bread came after the appetizers - again confusion as the waiter said “here is more bread” yet we hadn’t had any prior. Most felt their main courses ranged from fair to good. The lasagna was the best tasting dish by far. The capellini was flavorless and terribly overpriced. We skipped dessert as the dinner ran long with wait time. I do think we’d return for the lasagna as it really hit the spot but hopefully they’ll work out the kinks with service. Disappointed they didn’t at least offer a dessert on the house for their service issues.

We had a lovely Mother’s Day dinner here. Pasta was flawless and the pizza was delish! Will definitely be back.

Walked in for a 5:30pm reservation. Around 5 tables in the place so not full by any means. We waited 20 minutes after we sat down and not a single waiter/waitress greeted us or gave us water or anything. Yet oddly the server and what appeared to be the manager were serving and socializing with the table next to us. Would have loved to try the restaurant but the lack of service forced us to walk out. I told the hostess that no one had even greeted us or taken a drink order and she was so flippant and said “oh sorry” in a very condescending tone. Will definitely not be returning.

We were excited and had high hopes to try out this new restaurant for Mother’s Day lunch. We were all really disappointed with our visit, the food was very bland and the steak dish was very dry.

Ambiance was surprising, very nice inside - great date night spot… may not be the place for a family (like us). Food was good, but service sucked. Felt like our waiter could not get away from the table fast enough. I think it took 4 stops before he hung around long enough for my son to order a root beer- then he took off before my daughter could ask for a lemonade. The waiter’s impatience was just weird, and they had other waiters… maybe it was just him?

Scelto has quickly become one of our favourite new spots!! Everything we’ve ordered is fantastic but the highlights for us are the truffle fries and the short rib!! So delicious!! They also have a great range of cocktails and mocktails too. Both visits we’ve had fantastic servers (seriously - ask for Kai or Ash!) who were so fun and have great suggestions!! Overall, I highly recommend this establishment!

This is a beautiful new venue and the overall restaurant has great potential. The service was outstanding. The food, however, was only OK. Pasta was very much over-cooked. There were 5 of us and all concurred that none of the dishes were anything special. The flavors and concept are very good and I do believe that with some work this can become a very good restaurant.

First time, service was great. Food was good, the lasagna was the best and filled with pure taste wow! Wine was a good pick from Sean the server.

We started out with some drinks and apps. The bread good but, it’s also just bread. We also got a charcuterie, which was basic. 3 cheeses, seemed to be one meat thick cut hard to bite, fruits, and an ungodly amount of olives. They need to do way better with this. Short ribs & Gnocchi were good. But their sorry excuse for carbonara needs help. I tasted more garlic and oil than cheese and parts of the noodles seemed to have that reheated look. You can just tell. It was basically oily garlic noodles on a plate with peas and pancetta. I even read other people’s reviews and thought how bad could their carbonara really be? I’ve made/make better at home. Stop skimping on the cheese Scelto, seriously. After dinner… their Tiramisu was pretty decent zero complaints. But I always enjoy an espresso after my dinners. I know what I ordered and what I got… and I was not served espresso. I was given coffee in an espresso mug filled the the rim over flowing/splashing around as the waiter brought it over. There was ZERO crema and it tasted like coffee not espresso. Anyone who drinks coffee or espresso can clearly see and taste the difference. Might give it another shot just change up what I’m eating there.

The family was pleasantly surprised with the food and dining experience at this new gem. We particularly enjoyed the broccolini app., the Lavender 75 cocktail, and the pappardelle mushroom pasta. The pizza sauce was yummy too. Looking forward to trying more menu items next time.

Went for a Saturday night date night, and loved everything about it. Food was incredible, servers and staff were very friendly and fun. The only negative whatsoever was that we waited at the table, after being seated, for 7-10 min before we got any water or were greeted by a server. After that, everything was A+. The brussel sprouts are great, as was the steak. We will be back, many times. Possibly our new favorite restaurant.

First time visiting this restaurant. Service was outstanding, food was excellent, pricing was a little high. Loud talker on the table next to us, not Scelto’s fault though 😄

i have been to this restaurant 3 times now to give it a chance since it is new. I will NOT be going back. the service is terrible. the food is ok. the menu changed and not as appealing.

The room was lovely as was the overall experience. Service was excellent. My friends enjoyed their food but I and one other found our pasta to be bland. The tiramisù was creamy and delicious.

The Butternut Squash Soup is a favorite. Also the beef short ribs. Management does a great job of being visible and working the dining room.

Delicious Italian food in a quiet corner in Sandy! The food was delicious with good portions. Service was great, other than we felt just a tad rushed at the beginning, but overall excellent service.

Excellent food!! The waiter was exceedingly in a rush and hardly would stop long enough for us to ask questions The restaurant was not super busy so it didn't make a lot of sense. Otherwise, it was a great newer restaurant that I will frequent again.

We had a great meal here last night. The noise level was a little loud for us but the food was delicious. Our service was good but just a wee bit over zealous. We will be back again.

This was my first time eating at Scelto, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I was celebrating my birthday, and our waiter was very patient and kind with us. He made sure everything we requested was brought to the table, and he answered all our questions about the menu. I really love the ambience of this restaurant, the lighting, and the relaxed environment

Anniversary dinner- hostess noted it, server never got the message, or spaced it. Service was slow and wife’s expensive entree was cold. The waiter although nice, didn’t return to check on us for 15 minutes so she had to deal with it. Main courses were kinda average for the price but the apps were good.

We love Scelto! It is wonderful having fine dining in south end of valley. Love the ambiance and enjoyed dining in the back, private room. Whitney was a very attentive, professional and helpful server. We enjoyed the bread service, Brussels and calamari as starters. Wish bread service was a little bigger…especially paying for it. Calamari salad is one of our favorites! We had many pasta dishes, margarita pizza and chicken Parmesan. Portions are good size and pasta is cooked perfectly. Especially loved the gnocchi and carbonara. Desserts are ok. Tried busing, crème brûlée and tiramisu. Nothing really blew us away. Definitely recommend dining here and we look forward to our next visit!

Scelto is a beautiful restaurant, lots of ambiance, beautiful decor. Staff extremely friendly and conscientious. Unfortunately I ordered the mahi mahi and it was terribly dry and overcooked. The Rice, guava butter and Bok Choy were great. Looking forward to return and order a dish that would be more Italian.

This Sandy restaurant is in the previous Chin Wah location, and we were amazed at the interior transformation in what seemed like (but probably wasn’t) a relatively short time period. We’d made a 5:30 dinner reservation and, once the two hostesses figured out their reservations/available seating computer screen, we were promptly seated, although we requested a location other than where they wanted to seat us. Once seated it was like we’d become invisible, it being nearly ten minutes before being greeted by our server, who was extremely nice, personable, and attentive once he’d finally arrived. Not wanting to let him go now he was here, we made our drink and food orders all at once. The menu was varied with all items being pricey, but it was our choice to dine here anyway after becoming aware of the prices online. Our food arrived in good time and tasted fine but not “blown-away” fine. Two pasta meals, one soft drink, and one complimentary (our anniversary) to-share dessert came to $72, pretty steep IMO. Bottom line: OK option for dinner in Sandy, but too expensive overall if simply considering, “Where shall we eat tonight?”

It had a decent ambiance for something in the southern part of the valley. The host and server were very good. The food was disappointing and, overall lacked flavor. The Arancini was very good.

The food and service was absolutely awesome! We can’t wait to go back . Great location in Sandy . The bread plate with the basil butter and lemon garlic so yummy . The butternut squash ravioli was Nicely done . The veal was some of the best we’ve had . The tiramisu was incredible, We are really picky about our desserts and this was really good

Great service, nice atmosphere, and good food. The Parmesan truffle fries, bread basket with lemon butter, Cacio e Pepe pizza, and lemon ricotta cake were all delicious. We will be back for sure!

The Carbonara was pretty bland. Disappointing. The Settembrina pizza was pretty good. The charcuterie was pretty decent, the artichokes were an odd addition. The sauce with the filet wasn’t the best. The old fashion was way too sweet. The tiramisu was okay, but they dumped a whole bunch of cocoa powder on the top. It was so overpowering and overwhelming. The server was a little much, he also took a plate before we were finished and didn’t ask beforehand, but left the charcuterie board on the table for the whole meal.
