    We sat outside. The cocktails were excellent. From the brunch menu we had French toast, short ribs over polenta, carbonara and a salad with salmon added. Every dish was excellent. We were a party of six and the service was friendly and fast.

    came for the brunch stayed for the Bloody Mary bar " virgin" I was able to pack a couple of chicken winds " great wings" crab leg cluster , several shrimps . I cant wait to go back and try to jam twice as much stuff into that glass . brunch in nobhill is alway one of my favorite things to do

    I really enjoyed the night in the restaurant, the food was really good, the staff was so kind, gentle and attentive, the waited was always worried about if we need something. Me and my family for sure we will return.

    Sat at the bar prior to dinner, the drinks were great. I had an old fashioned and the wife had 2 mixed drinks. For dinner, we ordered the special, dry aged ribeye for two. The cut was awesome. However, after the first few bites, all we could taste was olive oil. The waitress was professional and very friendly. Great staff. For the price, the food should have been better.

    Was very good. I had requested an organic meal for my granddaughter and Chef David had the most delicious pasta, kale and peasta for her. Mine, not organic was also outstanding. Our waitress was very good.

    We paid $75/person and didn’t get a dessert. So very disappointed

    Our family group did a Mother’s Day brunch at Scalo. There was a good assortment of food and even our pickiest eaters found things they liked. There were things that were not so good. The mussels were salty and had little flavor other than salt. The crab legs were tasty but so small that it wasn’t worth the effort to find meat. The eggs Benedict were good except that the English muffins got so hard in the warmer that I couldn’t cut them with the butter knife provided. The service and ambiance were just right. The pickiest eater loved the spaghetti a la carbonara and especially loved the dessert selection. We never felt rushed and it was overall a good experience.

    Busy night but still great service. Food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen but we weren’t in a hurry. Excellent service by wait staff.
