We are Alberta's largest and most beautiful steak house. Tom Goodchild's Moose Factory stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of "AAA" Alberta beef one can't go wrong ordering any one style. The Moose Factory has become known for many unique qualities like it's luncheon buffet Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. which attracts the busy luncheon crowd with dozens of salads and an array of hot items to choose from daily.

      Omelette station experience was terrible, undercooked, long weight and looked like scrambled eggs rather then an omelette, setup of buffet was not great, and majority of food was dried out. Not worth the 54.99 per person my mother was not overly impressed

      We reserved a table for 20 and were told we would be seated together and we were not. We were at multiple tables. It was for a 50th anniversary. Very disappointed. Three meals had to go back because of over cooked prime rib and steaks and one person didn’t even get his until everyone was done eating. Will never be back

      Because it was Mother's Day weekend, we decided to dine out on Saturday evening. Arriving on time for our 5:15 reservation, we were immediately seated at our table. Our amazing server arrived almost immediately, and delivered outstanding customer service throughout our meal. Once our order was taken, our Prime Rib meals were delivered with lightning fast service. Over the years, we have dined at the Sawmill on many occasions. Having received this level of service, we will definitely be returning.

      Food was good…prime rib was very good. The chicken Oscar was good, but a very small piece of chicken. Flavour of the Oscar topping was very good, but the serving size of the chicken, for $36, was disappointing. Our server was attentive throughout our dinner. The Sangria (white) was flavourful.

      Feels like the dining room portion is stuck in the past, massive room with little sound which negatively affects the ambience. There’s a lot of wear and tear and it desperately needs touch ups. Food was decent at best, for what you pay it’s not worth it in my opinion at all. The prime rib did not seem to be quality and wasn’t cooked right, burger was overdone, the filet mignon was off. The redeeming quality was the staff, very nice people. Wouldn’t go back

      Eggs benny were soft and nicely liquid. Sauce homemade and tangy. Fruit was tropical prefer orange and grapefruit slices. Instead of chocolate fountain I requested yogurt which was then brought to me 4 creamy containers of it. Sausages and bacon nicely crisp skipped the hash and scrambled but tried the waffle (not the best). Pastries were perfect…croissants danish galore. 2 service staff tagged teamed 2 sections and worked well in tandem. Food staff tending buffet were friendly made eye contact and listened intuitively to guests unspoken and spoken requests being very helpful. They were the ambience to me. Dining area badly lit very dark and shadowy on a nice sunny day as blinds were drawn. Loved the chair with arms and clean table but no table cloth, nice cloth black nappies. First impression bad as 2 of the 3 coffee cups had rings in them. Payment easy with tap function brought to table 18% tip as preselect with 2 higher options. Our guest wanted to go here and I am glad as our previous visit left us with a big NO so that has now changed due to the many positives and we would come back. Compliments to the Chef we must try yr specialty next time. Parking excellent and easy to find.
