A pretty limited menu with some pretty eclectic choices. But the pizza was good, and my pasta dish was good. Don't show up a second before opening (5:30pm) as they won't let you in. I was expecting better at a JW.

Went before the LA King game on Saturday with the family. Great location, 3 minute walk to Crypto from here. My wife and daughter ordered a pizza and the avocado Caesar, my son got the pasta Bolognese and I had the pasta with carbonara. All was yummy except my son's Bolognese while warm on top was cold underneath (weird... was it frozen?) Server was efficient but not particularly warm. Anyway, good for a meal, but won't change your life. Bg

I would recommend but stay away from the chicken. It was dry. Ambiance and Atmosphere was great for business meeting or casual lunch with friends. I was there on back to back days. Service on the first day was fantastic. My server on the second day was hardly around; getting water was a challenge and never asked us if we wanted to order drinks. Then he rushed us to pay for the bill because his shift was ending, but after he took our payment, he was still working another 30 minutes. I expected more. Like I said, first visit was fantastic; second visit could have been better.

We had a party of three diners and ordered different entrees. I had pizza, someone had chicken and the other had salmon. All three came at the same time. All three were totally consumed because they tasted delicious! The waiter was prompt, knew the menu, made adjustment for salt reductions and was clean, polite and most important he had answers to the questions about what goes into the preparation of our dishes. The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet so we could discuss our subjects without raising our voices. The prices were competitive with similar dining experiences. Also important, the place was very clean. The restrooms were clean, the floors were clean, and the tables and chairs were clean. I highly recommend the Savoca restaurant to anyone who desires Italian food with excellent service and reasonable prices. Thank you Savoca for a wonderful dining experience.

During the meal, the waiter interrupted us three times. I felt impolite, and I was very uncomfortable. I believe he had a reason for interrupting us. But it must be friendly and polite.

Had breakfast buffet it was not bad but for $39 I would expect more meat choices. Then just bacon and 2 types of sausage.

Loved eating here during our stay for our wedding anniversary. We had brunch and it was simple, but fresh and delicious. Our server, Esther, was so sweet and gave us complimentary Mimosas as an anniversary treat.

Once again this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Had a noon reservation on Christmas thinking we would have late breakfast. When i arrived at 11:53 i had to wait in line behind others with no reservation and the breakfast was cleared off. The hostess was not accommodating in any way. We stay at this beautiful hotel each Christmas. Next year will know to book some where else.

We are a lovely meal before going to a concert at crypto on my birthday. The food was delicious and the staff was nice and not pretentious. And, I cot a birthday dessert!

We always enjoy Savoca. It's fairly loud because it's fully open to the hotel lobby and main stairwell. The roasted beets and grapes salad were updated - now served on a creamy goat cheese base - really good. Goes well with the focaccia. We split pasta and broccoli in a creamy pesto sauce - very tasty, but we would have preferred a thinner sauce. Serviceable wine and cocktail list. Perfect for before or after an event at the arena or one of the theaters. Service was excellent, as always.

The food gave us stomach problems and the server followed a script and said everything was “beautiful” but didn’t answer our questions or provide any information beyond the menu. It was a loud space with cold tables.

Service was not very good and they were not that busy when we got there. My wife's roasted chicken was good, my pizza was not. We also were happy to give up our table when finished for those waiting but it took over 15 minutes to get out check.

If you have Gaby you'll be in great hands. We had more trouble getting the attention of a different server though, although they were also short-staffed that day. Food here is served hot and fresh, with hearty portions. Seems busy at lunchtime when there is a convention in town, but come for an early dinner and the ambiance will be quiet and peaceful. Reservations are easy to make and assure you a comfortable place to enjoy a great meal in a beautiful setting. The chocolate trio cake is picture worthy and yummy. Also recommend the pizzas and the pasta dish with panchetta.
