    Tbh this might have been the worse pasta I’ve ever eaten in NY, which is sad bc the location is great!

    The restaurant was closed and phone is disconnected. No notice, no note in the door. They should take down their Open Table listing.

    Why Opentable would accept reservation for this restaurant at all? It It was closed while we got there. There were 2 parties waiting outside the restaurant trying find tables from another restaurants. It even required "credit deposit"! When I checked review son this restaurant afterward, people had the same experience since the beginning of May. Why OpenTable allows people to book the table in mid-May? Why I still got the text asking for confirmation?

    I made a reservation for a birthday a month out, and was able to do so through OpenTable. I also received a confirmation text the day before. The day of the reservation, we got to the restaurant and found out it is closed for renovations which is nowhere on OpenTable or on Sauce’s website.

    This restaurant was closed- there was no sign of it online on open table or their website. I even got a confirmation txt to make sure we were showing up. And when we did show up, there were people standing outside just as caught off guard that they were closed. Very disappointing, because I’ve eaten there before and it was good food & great vibes.

    The restaurant is closed and still under construction. I don’t understand why you are taking reservations. It was embarrassing because we had friends in from out of town and were left having to find someplace else last minute.

    After several weeks of nothing available, we booked a reservation this evening through OpenTable, but arrived to find your doors locked, the lights out, all the fixtures down from the walls with what looked like auction stickers on them, the bar awry, the tables stacked. The phone number is out of service. There's no indication on your door, phone, website or Google Maps to say whether this is temporary or permanent. A $40 cab ride and a last minute search for a different place for dinner later I saw your note on your Instagram profile. (I'm in communications and marketing and Instagram is pretty much the least effective way to communicate real information.) You may want to note your closing in a few more prominent places...and you may want to start with OpenTable, where right now you could still book a 9:30 p.m. table for tonight.
