10 of us had lunch at Santino yesterday at 3pm, it was quiet which is a shame because it’s a fantastic new menu and feel! All of us really enjoyed our high quality food and delicious cocktails in a beautiful setting. Can’t wait to return!

I myself work in a busy city centre restaurant and try to be sympathetic, but this was quite disappointing. The calamari was a tiny portion and oddly reddish/purple, indicating spoiled squid and for the price this was unfortunate. The risotto was oily and thick alongside the linguine being incredibly underwhelming. We sent back the risotto and paid for the rest simply due to not wanting to make a fuss. Given it was so quiet, we would assume more attentiveness and a better response to a complaint. Bit unfortunate, hope they can turn it around.

Everything was lovely. My special (seafood linguine) was delicious although quite a small portion. My husband ordered a rare steak which was more medium and the wedges were dry. The glasses and cutlery hadn’t been dried off after the dishwasher which cheapened the experience for us. It’s a nice place to eat and was busy. We would go back.

Lovely venue and good menu however the food was not up to standard. My burger was extremely dry and tough and also had no sauce it was also cold. My friend’s spaghetti was cold had all clumped and stuck together probably from being left out too long.

Good menu reasonably priced. Service good and helpful. A bit noisy and busy after7.30pm Music too loud and televisions a distraction. Clean and tidy. Starters took time to arrive but main courses good and warm plates

We were looking forward to a great new Italian in Kilmarnock but was a little bit disappointed. When we arrived, we waited over 5 minutes at the front door before anyone even acknowledged we were there, despite staff constantly passing us. We were then seated at as booth which had very little room for 4 adults to squeeze in around the table, but give the staff their due, they moved us straight away when we asked. Our food and drinks order was taken quickly, but when the food came, it was in stages and we didn’t all get it together. I was really disappointed in the chicken parm as it didn’t have an option of pasta, and came very dry. My husbands lasangna was like a child’s portion and did not come with any sides….really disappointed. Thank goodness we had ordered extra sides for the table. Overall, the value was good and the staff really nice, but I’m not sure I’d be rushing back unless I hear its improved dramatically.

Pretty empty when we arrived. Ordered drinks and they came quickly. Staff were polite. The food was terrible. 4 of us ordered pizza. They were all dry and tasteless and lacked toppings. The crust was literally crumbling away when you picked it up. I imagine if i air fried a tortilla it would taste similar. The chips were greasy tasting, and the olives weren’t great. The olives were nibbles and they brought them with the main course. Would not return

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food wasn't what we had hoped for. 2 chicken parmigiana, served with chips OR veg, not an option for with pasta. Burger very plain.
