Since 1971, when the Simeonidis family opened a little take-out pizzeria in Thompson, Manitoba, Santa Lucia’s dedication to great tasting food and great value has made the little pizzeria a great success. My family enjoyed the fettuccine alfredo. The serving sizes here are more than enough for one person. I’m definitely going back!

Noise level due to music level and choice totally took away from the experiece. It was diffcult to even speak to one another in our booth . This may be more acceptable in a bar but certainly not in a dining room. It was not poddible to get the attention of a waiter ti lower the volume. We will not likely return to the dining room. We would recommend the food, not the dining room due to noise level .

Great selection of good food at reasonable prices. This has become my go to place for lunch dates with friends as they don’t mind if you visit awhile. Good place for larger groups too.

I usually have the Greek pizza, which is outstanding. The chicken club was very dry and plain. May have been a one off.

They have the best gluten free pizza in the city. I have tried a lot and there’s is the best. The chicken souvlaki is also really good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Thankful that Santa Lucia’s has a plant-based menu and can accommodate those with gluten allergies. Daniel, our server was attentive, thorough and pleasant. Danic the manager handled a mistake with my gf vegan meal with professionalism. His customer service skills ensure that we will be back again. I regularly promote your vegan options to the local vegan community. Thank you and happy new year!

The food at Santa Lucia is always great but when the restaurant is FULL don't expect to carry on any kind of normal conversation with your guests at your table...it's SO loud in the restaurant that a normal conversation is all but impossible, We were with another couple in a booth and we had to almost yell at each other to talk. To add to the noise level they play music which simple contributes more to the noise level. You'll never go wrong with the food, unfortunately the restaurants acoustics are terribly when the restaurant is full.

Our reservation was deemed less important than a very large group we were seated by. Our service was non- existent as the larger group drew all the service. We were left with no serving utensils, no pepper, no cheese, no dessert. The bill was the only thing that arrived quickly and complete. The large group surely had a reservation as did we so I assume they didn’t have enough staff. Our group of six were celebrating as we did frequently pre-Covid at the Corydon location. Very disappointing.

Food was well prepared and tasty with good quantities for the price. Only concern is that it took an hour to get our meals once they were ordered. We had a table of 6 people.

The meal was less that impressive. It was a huge disappointment and no effort to provide alternatives for an allergy. We had a horrible experience at a different location and was willing to give a second chance. That being said, we should have just saved our money.

We were there for lunch. Everyone craving pizza after a week on the lake. The music was too loud at first, but the server was very accommodating and turned down the volume. We were on the patio. The pizzas were exactly as ordered except we ordered the lunch 9" pizzas and they were at least 10" or more. Oh well...leftovers for supper. I was entertaining friends from out of town and wanted them to experience a Winnipeg original restaurant. When I searched - Santa Lucia came up first and it deserved to be first - great food, attentive service, lovely summer atmosphere - just an all round super way to leave a last best impression of Winnipeg.

Everything was good until a freak rain storm blew in but the staff and everyone handled it great ! Great food and great service and yes we will be blowing in there again before the end of the summer . Highly recommend this fine place

The atmosphere is pleasant, the employees are friendly, in my opinion they did everything very well, both for children and for the elders. Well done! Reggae music is playing on the balcony, very attentive waiters come at first glance in their direction. If you don’t feel like cooking at home, the affordable prices of pizzerias allow you to dine without harming your wallet

We were seated at a table beside a large group with young children. The children were screaming most of the time at high pitch and we’re playing an iPad that was extremely loud, and all the adults were talking over the children rather than addressing the issue. We asked to move over half an hour into our visit trying to wait out the commotion and were relocated to the lounge, which was perfect, but it definitely impacted our own family celebration. For context, we visit this restaurant more than twice a month, typically with a full restaurant and the noise is always reasonably loud and what you’d expect for a full restaurant. On this day there were hardly any full tables and I would estimate less than half capacity for seating in the main dining room, and we were unable to hold a conversation due to the noise of the group we were seated near. I would hope that a manager would address an unruly table for the well being of the rest of the patrons. It should not be permitted for a family to blast noise from a device for a long period of time, or for any amount of time actually. If parents have screaming children, screaming and fighting for an extended amount of time, it is reasonable for that to be addressed by management. The children were physically fighting and pulling each other’s hair and screaming over the iPad and it didn’t stop. Thank you for reading this, we will give the restaurant a try sometime in the future but it will no longer be our go-to place for family gatherings.

Pretty good pizza but the crust was a little undercooked. The waitress asked me if she could box the pizza while I had a piece in my mouth 45 minutes after sitting down.

Waiter was fabulous, food was delicious. Took quite a while from when we ordered to get our food, but I get it, it was a packed house in there. Very busy. Was worth the wait. We all know the pizza is good there, but they have a huge menu and everything we had that wasn’t pizza was just as good! Call for reservations, surprise your partner. You won’t regret it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
