Children under 10 will not be accommodated within the dining room Monday - Friday, unless for a private event or patio dining exclusively.

Over priced...poor service...great venue and ambiance...still a poor copy when compared with an established American fine dining venue..I wish it would smell of Indian cuisine rather than the funky aroma they pipe in which tends to clash with the smell of Indian food...all said and done...I think they will improve and do really well..

I liked the starters, the drinks were terrible for being done by a famous mixologist. We ordered paneer as the main food and the portion size was extremely small and the dish itself was below average and very tomato sauce like. I would just go for a sober appetizer meal.

Beyond expected service and friendly attention and welcoming experience. We have had Indian food in many states and this is our favorite, I was a fortunate Westerner to have spent a week in India a few years ago and loved the food and people. This is the closest to that feeling since. We wish them great success.

The service provided was outstanding, but I found the flavor of the food to be somewhat underwhelming. I had anticipated a richer taste, particularly since the dish was of Indian cuisine. In my opinion, the value for money in relation to the quality of the food was not justified.

The ambience and the service was good. The food was ok and way overpriced. For the price, we expected something exceptional. The only choice was buffet which was just ok. However, we did not get the value for the price.

Over hyped and terrible food. They did a buffet outside under a tarp. For a “high end” restaurant, this is unacceptable! We overpaid for what we got.

This restaurant wants to be on par with fine dining restaurants that excel in a particular cuisine and the setup inside shows it clearly. May be it’s the weather today but if you are charging 75$ per person for lunch buffet, I would expect a better atmosphere than rain water dripping over plates that have food in a dimly lit place. I have been to multiple 5 star establishments that charge over 250$ for 2 people but here, when the total charge was 218$ for two people, the food nor atmosphere were nowhere close to expectations. Chicken was a bit undercooked in the Hyderabadi biryani and naan was hard. Chaat and Mutton ghost were awesome and overall food was OK. Nothing special. We did let the host know about the outside buffet area not meeting expectations and the response was that rain was unexpected and that’s alright. Service was awesome but the overall experience left us underwhelmed.

To be fair, it was Mother’s Day and they had a brunch buffet. That was never communicated to us despite the numerous confirmation calls (my dad is in a wheelchair and my mom is purely vegetarian so we would have picked another day to try it). There was little guidance on how to approach things, no silverware or napkins on table (under the guise of different ones would be needed with different dishes), no drink order requests, and like most buffets - the food was fine but did not showcase the chef’s abilities. The servers were nice but some need more training. This may be part of the newness of the restaurant - but they could use a logistics consultant. We will probably try them for dinner since I’ve heard good things about that - but I’m not recommending it to others until I have a better experience.

I was very excited to visit after seeing positive reviews on social media. So it’s unfortunate that my experience was less than positive. We started the meal with a cocktail, which was batched, and absolutely terrible. Thankfully the waiter took one of the cocktails off our bill. The waiter did a nice job providing an overview of the menu. However his assistant kept lerking around our table where it felt awkward having a conversation despite choosing a table in what one would consider a more private seating area. The food was average at best in taste and way over priced! Garlic nann was two pieces and $10! I can’t recommend this place to my foodie friends or anyone in general. I hope this feedback is in line with other experiences and they make some changes soon.

The best aspect of this experience was the staff, very attentive and observant. The food was nice but nothing to be overly excited about and certainly not worth the price. Dishes of note, the chicken Tikka appetizer was the best dish and the red snapper wrapped in banana leaves was good but the shrimp/prawn appetizer and the signature mutton curry was more sauce than mutton. Other warning, be ready for the mosquito infestation both outside and sadly inside. There were 4 dead ones on our table cloth and they openly knew of the mosquitos inside. Overall glad we went but not again and certainly not value for money.

Great ambience and service. Food was also pretty good, a lot of innovation and fusion in the dessert menu. The drinks were the biggest disappointment, but otherwise a very pleasant experience. Definitely worth dining

Amazing place. I took my partner for our special date night. It was amazing. Our server Mark was really amazing. Food was amazing, drinks were nice, and ambience was on point. Would definitely visit again.

The ambiance and food was outstanding. The service was good, but we did have to wait too long between our appetizers and main course. Waited more than 40 minutes for our food after finishing our appetizers

The initial $50 reservation fee is not counted in the bill it seems which is high and not acceptable for a restaurant of this quality. I’ve been to 5 star restaurants where they will deduct the reservation fees from the bill to make it fair.

The restaurant desgn is very nice. Setting is great around the water. However we waited nearly one hour just to place our order. It was not busy, it was a Sunday at 7pm. Website said, "no children under 10" allowed in dining room. I have never seen anything like that on a website. As we found out, its an issue. We experienced two children, one crawling on top of table and another screaming. They were about 2 years of age and probably tired. Two choices of Pinot Noir by glass, we were told they were out of it. Delhi butter chicken was good. Melangorean shrimp dish smelled odd, my guest ordered that dish, and got very sick later that evening into next day. Overall experience was very bad. It's unfortunate, the management needs to change or waitstaff needs to be trained. You can't charge high prices and have sub par service. I hope they are able to adjust to the kind of restaurant that they intended to be. It is a lovely setting.

The place is considered to be high end Indian food. The Lunch which we took had very limited offerings, though the Chef was nice enough to make an appetizer. It is certainly pricey. The food was pretty good. The asparagus soup was well made. We were told they recently opened the restaurant for lunch. Unless its a special occasion i would not recommend and please be ready for a steak house kind of bill

We went for lunch which is Prix Fixe. Ordered the Prawns @ $34 and Meat Curry @ $29. While the flavors were very good the quantity of edible food was ridiculously small: The prawns consisted of TWO, yes, TWO shrimp tails for $34. The meat curry (goat) came in a sizable bowl but was 90% bones. Not only was this an incredibly LOW value for money but they pre-load a 20% service fee. What restaurant does that for a table for two? While service was average at best it should be the patron’s decision on how much to reward the levels of service; otherwise what motivation is there to please the guest? We often see that practice for large parties but never for a small table. Can you name any fine dining experience in Dallas that does this? Overall, the experience was far below expectations.

We booked table of 4 for my birthday and we ended up sitting outside because we are party of 5. Food was not up to expectations, goat biryani was really bad. The kept trying to up sell or kept recommending more food order then requested.

The wait staff was excellent. I forgot her name but our main hostess that served us was phenomenal. Definitely recommend this place. It is surrounded by a very peaceful pond and the parking is plenty. The portions were little small so sharing may not be ideal.

We recently went to dine at Sanjh with friends. And had the most enjoyable experience sitting outdoors by the water. The food, the ambience and the service were all excellent. Loved everything!

30% of the menu was not available. They had a list of items not available. What was available had issues, too. The first appetizer was served lukewarm, one cold. Too much hype but not justified, does not live up to the expectations, and is too pricey. Two people went there to celebrate the anniversary. The bill was $225.00. The items were mostly what we eat in just about any place but better taste and less pricey. What was new here, did not seem to amaze me. The ambiance was ok. I finally wanted to end with tea, and only that was better than others, so if I went there again after dinner at another restaurant first, I would grab a cup of tea at Sanj and sit outside.

We were looking forward to an upper scale Indian restaurant. The food was good, but not exceptional. The most unfortunate part of our experience was the service. Unbelievably, inexcusably slow. The manager apologized at the end of our Long 2 hour meal, but charged us the mandatory 20% service fee. We will not be returning anytime soon, there are many other Restaurants in Dallas with professional attentive service.

Great food but service and seating are still not up to the mark yet. They are seating too many people at tables for family-style ordering and serving. Hopefully, they will listen to feedback and improve both the staff and seating. Looking forward to going back.

Food was good: Fig kebab, dal Makhni, shrimp, kofta were all delicious. Cocktails were also interesting and well balanced. However, at this price point expect a bit more from the service. We had to ask for some water after sitting down and to place our drink order. Waiter seemed to be upselling even when we explained that half the party was vegetarian and so would prefer more vegetarian dishes. Would return if the customer experience improves

My recent visit to Sanjh was nothing short of spectacular, making it a dining experience I eagerly look forward to repeating. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance whisked me away to a place of comfort and elegance. The decor struck a perfect balance between traditional charm and modern sophistication, creating an atmosphere that was both inviting and enchanting. Will for sure go back!

My family and I came to eat here on a Friday evening. We were excited to try this restaurant after we had heard about it. We were disappointed with our experience. We first off got seated at a 4 person table for 6 people, there was no room for us to even have wine glasses and water each on the table. The service started out good as we were one of the first to be seated in our section. Once we ordered appetizers and they arrived and we finished we had to ask for our server to order our main dishes, then came our food and the food was served well but we didn’t have room to leave an extra plates on our table, and we prefer to enjoy Indian food family style. Then after we finished eating we had our plates sitting in front of us for 25 minutes, we had to ask to get them removed. Then we had to ask to order dessert. Then had to ask for our check. Overall we spent 3 1/2 hours at the restaurant which is expected with nicer restaurants to stay for awhile and enjoy the ambiance. But that was not the case for us we had to ask for service instead of them taking the initiative. And on top of this the food was on the higher side of cost and had great flavor. But for 6 people we were charged a 20% automatic gratuity and then they proceeded to not let us know and handed us the tablet to add an additional 8-10%. Our tip was more than half the food cost. We called to complain and ask why 20% and the manager gave a poor response. In all seriousness the food was good, service was very poor
