As a nod to the curated experience prepared by our team, we ask our guests to dress for the occasion for an evening at Sanjh.

Children under 10 will not be accommodated within the dining room Monday - Friday, unless for a private event or patio dining exclusively.
All ages are welcome to dine with us on Saturday and Sunday.

Lunch portions are small, I had the prawns and just came with two. Wine by the glass was very expensive ($18/glass), you should be able to see that in the menu. I had a $35 meal that came to $90 after 2 glasses of wine, service, and tax.

Fantastic new restaurant, the food was outstanding, a mixture of traditional and more adventurous dishes. Service was a little inexperienced, for example trying to remove dishes before we had finished eating, but I am sure this will be great soon.

Highly recommend this place to those with discriminating taste. Great food with a creative twist served in style. Definitely not a run of the mill Indian eatery.

Saying that Sanjh is an Indian restaurant is like saying Picasso is a painter. Yes, but... There are some familiar dishes on the menu (Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken) but where the restaurant shines is their ability to take the ingredients that you know and prepare them in an absolutely novel way, as they do with their Bharwan Paneer Tikka (paneer cheese stuffed with herbs and spices). The portions are modest but filling, and the presentation is spectacular (as you can see in the restaurant's photos). The wait staff is personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. The prices are not what you would expect at any other Indian restaurant in Dallas (and 20 percent gratuity is automatically added to the bill), but the six native Indian chefs (as I was told) bring their A-game, the space is lovely, and the experience is beyond memorable. I have already recommended this restaurant to three friends.

unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The meal started off on a sour note with an unwelcoming hostess who seemed disinterested in assisting us. Despite our reservation, we were made to wait as our party had 10 guests. When we were finally seated, the prices on the menu were shockingly high. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for excellent food and service, but this was not the case. The dishes were mediocre at best and did not justify the steep prices. The portions were small, and the flavors were bland, lacking any distinctive character or freshness. Lamb rack served was raw and Naan was served cold. To top it all off, the service throughout the evening was slow and inattentive. It's disappointing when a restaurant that charges such high prices fails to deliver on the basics of hospitality and culinary quality. I would not recommend anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Went to celebrate a milestone birthday. We had made the reservation months in advance (they took a deposit of $60 which they later refunded - this is a practice that grates and makes for an unpleasant experience - the restaurant should rethink this). We had a couple more interactions with the restaurant - those were very pleasant. We went on a Wednesday night and the place was buzzing. Its a beautifully done space and the service is exceptional. We ordered a few cocktails and appetizers for our party of 6. The cocktail that was supposed to mimic the pani of pani puri was very good. The other cocktails were not in balance - too sweet, too tart etc. Of the appetizers - the stuffed paneer, the fig/spinach kabab and the samosa trio were all excellent. Hadn't had a potli samosa in a while, so that was a nice touch. We ordered a lamb curry (one of our party was non vegetarian) - he rated it a 10/10. The vegetarians ordered Dal Makhani (more like a Dal Bukhara) - 9/10, Bhindi 9/10, Sag Paneer 6/10 (the paneer was rubbery - which is what happens to paneer beyond a certain temperature). The Naan was good and the Tandoori Roti was average - looked like it had semolina in it - a big no no IMO because it changes the taste of the roti and not in a good way. Since it was a birthday, they brought out a dessert - a chocolate cake of some kind - it was not very good - dry. We had brought our own dessert - which was nice. All in all, a very good experience. Its expensive, so this is a place you go to for a special occasion. Dallas badly needed a high end Indian restaurant. Sanjh fits the bill nicely.
