Sangiovese Ristorante at Fishers District is a new addition to the Sangiovese family. We have brought many of our original recipes to Fishers with an addition of a few new items. Sangiovese Ristorante was founded in 1994 by Owner/Operator Chris Evans. His goal was to bring an authentic Italian cuisine to Indianapolis' North Side. Through the years Chris has maintained his dedication to clientele by providing the highest quality ingredients and impeccable service.                         We went for father's day because this is my dad's favorite restaurant and we have always had a wonderful experience. However, today was not so great. Our server took my mom's drink order then proceeded to list the specials and left without asking the rest of us, which was confusing. She told my brother she would be back with a drink refill and came back 20 min later. After ordering our food, we waited over 40 min and it never came. No one came to check on us. The table next to us got there much later than us and received their food right away. Overall, we waited an hour for our meals and ended up leaving without eating as we had plans after and waited a ridiculous amount of time. Our food has never taken that long there. Quite disappointing, especially since it was for such a special day and our waitress was not attentive.

                        A nice surprise for some good Italian. The area where Sangiovise is very cool and enjoyed an outdoor table. All four of our meals were very good (chicken Parm, veal). Service was spot on and the menu had some great selections, along with some specials.

                        It was wonderful weather yesterday so we ate at the patio area. Food was amazing and our server was on point with food recommendations. Love this place!

                        Food is delicious just wished we weren’t so rushed and that they honored our request for a booth. Also would love the restaurant to offer a summer Sauvignon Blanc

                        Very nice staff. Bread and olive oil were delicious. My daughter is a fettuccine alfredo aficionado and she loved it. Seafood linguini with spicy marinara very good but could have used more shrimp. Nice place.

                        Enjoyed a lovely dinner! The Mambo Italiano was very refreshing...the perfect summer cocktail! Our server was helpful and attentive as it was our first time dining here. We shared the Caprese Salad, which was fresh and tasty. Both the chicken parm and chicken piccata were perfectly prepared and delicious! We finished up with the spumoni bombe because we love spumoni ice cream and it is hard to find. We will definitely return when we visit Fishers again!!
