Meal wasn’t that great. Got the gnocchi special with a pea sauce. Was very disappointed. I went back to the restaurant because my previous meal, gnocchi alla norcina, was absolutely delicious! I’ll give it another try. Dying to try the eggplant parmigiana.

We love going to San Matteo’s! And whenever we have company visiting we love to bring them there. We had a new server for us, Sean and he was excellent!! The chef always comes out and greets the guests and checks on things and it never disappoints.

what a great find in SWFL great bar service, wait service was excellent and the food was like dining in Italy definitely recommend dining here, reasonably priced the Octopus Carpaccio was so delicious that even non seafood eaters at the table enjoyed their taste we did not have pizza this visit but it looked sooooo good that i think we will go back just for that

First time at San Matteo, but we'll be back! My pizza was excellent - great crust from the wood-fired oven. Service was great. No too expensive, light, comfortable decor - not stuffy.

The cocktails and waiter's suggestions were excellent. Loved our French 75 and smoked old-fashioned. Great pizza and salads.

Our meal (chicken piccata) was delicious. We sat outside because the restaurant was cold & the live music was a bit loud for us. They have great seating outside.
