Here, he effortlessly combines his signature forward-thinking approach to Spanish cuisine with the gorgeous produce found at Southern California’s year-round farmers’ markets. San Laurel is open daily for breakfast and dinner service.

Another really outstanding experience at San Laurel. My third visit and certainly won’t be my last! Everything was great…the service and ambience and of course the food! Pan d’tomato is divine and the fennel soup was to die for… Will be back!!

We go to San Laurel every time we are up in La for an event. When you find a place that is so consistently amazing, it is worth going again and again.

Wow! Had high expectations for a Jose Andres restaurant and they were exceeded. Food was complex and well balanced and novel. Service was wonderful, warm, friendly, efficient. Lovely ambience with ladies celebrating birthday, families with kids, couples, business people.

Wonderful experience! I was a little intimidated by the menu, but we were adventurous and tried a number of dishes. Everything was beautiful and delicious! A little pricey overall, but really enjoyed this meal!!

I love Andres' restaurants and have eaten at many. This was the most disappointing. Service while friendly was rushed. The food was okay but nothing special. The wild mushroom dish was watery and under seasoned. Just overall a let down from my expectations.

My wife is disappointed in most restaurants. She's an incredible cook that can out do most eateries. SAN LAUREL blew her away. A leisurely Thursday night pre Disney Hall dinner was a masterpiece! Since it our first time, we went with some of the recommended dishes, the hamachi, the uni appetizer, the mushrooms and the rack of lamb. The inventiveness, quality and freshness of the ingredients was on full display. The service was attentive and well paced. The wines by the glass showed expertise in matching them with the food. All four were perfect. BRAVO!

Always hesitant to eat at a "hotel" restaurant but San Laurel was fantastic! The food, the service - especially Andrea and Vinnie the bartender - all fantastic! Highly recommended.

The food was excellent and unique. The decor and atmosphere was bright, airy and enjoyable and the bartenders were knowledgeable, entertaining and prompt. However, we made a 6:15 reservation, as we had an 8:00 show across the street, but they could not seat us for 25 minutes. That is a major negative to my experience. I am not used to LA restaurants overbooking to such an extent, especially since the restaurant is well aware that most of the patrons are heading to events next door. If you want to try this restaurant, be aware of this issue. Fortunately, 2 seats opened at the bar which saved us. Otherwise, I would have given my experience 2 stars at best

Beautiful restaurant serving innovative and delicious fusion Spanish/Californian cuisine. Service was a bit slow and prices are high. Still, an excellent restaurant and a great choice for people attending performances at Walt Disney concert hall or the Music Center.

Glorious ambiance, the service attentive and timely as we were going to the Opera. It did get a little rushed at the end but not bothersome. The food was sublime. Creative and delectably flavorful yet light as air and very subtle notes. Wine choice was spot on. Look very much forward to returning.

Service is excellent and to be expected, the actual physical attributes of the restaurant are subtle and well appointed. The food was the star, we had the lamb chops, the vermicelli Mac n cheese and the mushrooms, paired with some Spanish Tempranillo was a terrific meal.

Sebastian provided excellent service. Food is inventive and really good . Not exactly clear hewn you shops to order as some are tapas some are entree some side dishes … tapa Spanish style for all would make it more fun!

Almost worth going up there for the view, but the food is exception. I've been there at least 3 times & I think I've ordered the same dishes more than one time. Each time the food has been excellent; however, different added creative touches seem to appear in a given dish each time. Way to go!!

Really enjoyed San Laurel. We were running late and on a tight timeline for a show. The manager immediately put in our entree order even before we talked to the server and then, the server was amazing in helping us move along. Service was very attentive throughout. Next - food - simply amazing! We had the lubina, mac & cheese, yeti beets and hiramasa crudo. I could eat the crudo every meal - stellar! We will def come back again and again. Note, parking is only $10 for 3 hours. We didn't know this in advance.

San Lauren is a place filled with energy...both at the bar as well as the tables. If you want to share tips with your neighbor ...it's quite alright. Some times seeing a dish says more than the waiter can explain. My second visit, I will be back..much left to explore! It's expensive but worth the price because the food is so delicious.

A brilliant dining experience! Top dishes we had were the tomato tartare (O.M.G.) and pistachio cake. Fennel soup was lovely but bordering on too subtle. Duck breast was delicious and tender, but not an outstanding dish. The room and views are gorgeous, the service is excellent, and the spacing of tables keeps the noise level down. Wéll be back.

We enjoyed our dinner and liked the restaurant on this second try much better than the first. The prices are a bit high and I think the chef still needs to have a few more simplified dishes. We will come back.

Dinner at San Laurel was fantastic !! It is an authentic kitchen from Spain and not Americanized!!! Fennel soup was delicious , I never got a typical Spanish bread without of Europe !! Yummy ! Lamb was outstanding! the cheesecake mad of tofu was a sinn!

Very good food, service and atmosphere. We had the lamb, a few seafood items, a sweet potato appetizer and four desserts. All were excellent. The biggest standout was probably the sweet potato appetizer.

This is a wonderful restaurant in every way! The food is delicious and the place is both elegant and fun. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s great to have it in the hotel, but should be a destination for anyone in LA. Plus Jose Andres is a magnificent humanitarian as well as a great chef. Thanks!

We were at a table of six people and had a great time. The service was excellent, and the food and drinks were delicious. We never made it to the wine list, so we continued with cocktails throughout the meal. It was wonderful to come on Monday evening. We had a great table, time to talk and enjoy our meal.

Great restaurant! Food was top notch and the ambience was great. The dining room is surrounded in glass and makes for the perfect sunset dining experience. The patio would be great on a warm summer evening as well. The food was beautifully presented and everything was delicious. Tomato carpaccio, duck, beats and lamb were all equally great. Pistachio cake was stellar. We will definitely be back to try some other items.
